Family of 6 looking for SAFE and CHEAP hotel near Disney for 2 nights in between DVC

Our family of 6 is looking for a safe (preferably indoor coridoors) and very Cheap to stay in between stays at DVC resorts for a weekend Friday and Saturday night. We don't mind small but are in need of a refrigerator. Any help or suggestions from you resident experts out there will be greatly appreciated!!! THANK YOU!!!

You can get a 2br (sleeps 6) condo at Cypress Point near Downtown Disney through Hotel Kingdom for $70/night. I haven't stayed there yet, going in Jan and July, but it gets good reviews here, and you would get a full sized kitchen.

How about a moderate resort with an AP rate? Two rooms. Or Two rooms at a Value resort.

You might be able to get a deal at the Doubletree Suites at DTD. They sleep 6 and have a refrigerator.

Our favorite is Country Inn and Suites Calypso Cay. It's very close to Disney, has refridgerators, microwaves and coffeemakers in the room, 3 pools, free mini golf and a really nice free breakfast. We always stay there on our first night and then move over to BWV. This year we have 2 nights booked for there over Easter.

Sorry I was referring to the hotel kingdom tip about Cypress Pointe. How much are the rooms at Calypso Cay Country Inns and Suites and will they sleep 6? Thanks for all your help!!!

Great idea TNK2DW Do you know what the room quality is on the inside, I'm used to Disney quality so I am picky about cleanliness and so forth. I looked at the website but there were no interior photos. Thank you!
