I am so happy my DH said we could go to WDW in Oct/ Nov of next year..:woohoo: Thus was DH's idea:idea: (he hates Disney, he says it cost to much ..yada yada yada)... This is HUGE for me .:love1: :love1: Dh came up with the idea .. This speaks volumes to me:cloud9:

Now we were just there in Sept, and every year dh says have fun because we are not coming back for 2-5 years...:charac2: I was just getting used to the idea that we would not go back..Then he springs this on me.
I am so pumped!!!!:jumping1:

I hope to do as well as my last trip. I will try to add the link If I can figure out how to use it.

Money will be needed for
1. stay in a town house???$
2. Wdw tickets1,400
3. Air-fair 1200?
4. car rental? 400
5. Sea world possible??

Some ideas to help cushion the expense for the trip :teacher:

I will try to earn some gift cards through mypoints
I have askd for gift cards for Christmas to use to eat out

I save cans and return them.. I will use the money to put on a gift card

save change

also use my reward card and earn points for places to eat out at.

also this time I plan to eat in more at our town house.

I am trying to plan this trip to be 4,000 including spending money:lovestruc (not including the free stuff I earn from mypoints ect)

I have looked into 10 day tickets
and they are around 1,400. The problem is that I can not take off 10 days from work. So I will have to work on that.

I also would like to go to Wet and Wild and Sea world, but I do not think that is going to happen. For all of us to do Sea world for 2 days was 500 +

If I had to choose it would be WDW because I just love it so much!::MinnieMo

So now I need to start saveing some money$$$

WoW $1,200 for airfare where are you flying from? This sounds good, I can't wait to see if you can keep it under $4,000

Nice, I wish I could find $200 each airfare.. at this point I will be lucky to find us under $500 . Have you always stayed off site

:crowded: We have stayed on site 2 times and dh hated the fact that we had to wait in a huge line to get our room key ect. We have also stayed at an off site hotel 2x. This will be our third time staying in a Condo and we just love it!:dancer:

I have started doing Sunshine Rewards. I have made a wopping 5.26:cheer2: . I would love to make 100.00. I will not shop through them due to the fact I had my CC # stolen:headache: I am also shopping through Mypoints. However this makes it hard for me to save my change!

I have 600.00 towards the airfair. ( I saved some money from our last trip)I hope to suprise Dh with this:flower3: . I do not think I can buy our tickets until Feb/ March/ April.

The entire family wants to do Sea World. I might have to call:idea: AAA to see if they have a better deal.

I do want to stay for 7+ days. I hope it will work out:yay:

To soften some of the cost of my trips I sign up for free bees. Here are some things I have gotten so far for my trip .:cool1:

10 shampoo samples, I will need about 20 more

3 laundry soap samples, I would like a whole bunch more

3. deodorant sample.. I am all set with that.

I have about 4 soap samples and some body wash.

My goal is to bring all my free soaps, shampoos, deodorant and razors with us.

This year I am not bringing any food with me except for Kool aid drop ins and snacks for the plane. I plan to buy all our food when we get down there and eat in our house a lot more!

It sounds like a good plan Stahshee. :) Am looking forward to reading more of your great money making plans. :) Like I had typed in your last pre-trip report, you are the Queen of gift cards. So I am sure that you will be collecting many of those to assist you with your vacation plans.
I hope that you can get all of the days off from your job, that you will need, so as to spend 7 days at WDW. I really do hope that for you. Maybe call in sick for the last day or two? ;) Why not? After all, other people do.

I am glad to see that you were able to make your link show up. I had posted how to do that on your other thread. So hopefully I was of help. :)

Keep up the good work!

I'll be watching your progress! My trip is on a budget also. I paid for our airline tickets completely with money I made on ebay and I will be putting $533 disney reward points towards our vacation package. Whooo hooo!

The only problem I see in your budget is you are already at $3000 and that did not include your hotel or house and you have not included food. Maybe you will get lucky and get the free dining but then you would have had to stay onsite. I do not think your budget is going to be kept. I can not see how you can get your housing stay and your food for only $1000 combined but I hope you can make it work.

Are you including the 'gift cards' in your $4k budget? Or are you just counting the money you pay out of pocket?

Am hoping you'll be able to do this budget trip!!

$1600 seems like a lot for flights and car rental, wouldn't it be cheaper to drive? You're about 1000 miles from Orlando i'm guessing give or take, you could probably drive it in about 16 hours. Even if you stopped overnight somewhere you'd be in WDW by lunch hopefully the next day. Plus you could take snacks/water/some food in the back which would save as well.

For cheap tickets I've always found www.undercovertourist.com a really great value not only for WDW tickets but also Seaworld etc.

TNKBELL's budget TR from last year said she got a great deal on Summer Bay Resort using SkyAuction, around $300 for a week I think, great deal!

Am looking forward to reading more about your plans :thumbsup2

Well I have over estimated the price of air Fair, just to be on safe side.... I have about 100.00$ in restaurant food gift cards that I can redeem from my-points and my reward card...

This time I really don't want to eat out as much. It seems better for our group if we eat a dinner in our house and then go back to WDW for the night.

I plan on using undercover tourist for our tickets.....No I dont know how many days but I do plan on at least 1,400. (If its less than, thats great)
Our condo is 500.00 ...

The gift cards are all "free" so I dont count them, but I do need them:banana: .. So you could count them if you want!

I will have a better budget when I can purchase the airline tickets.
also I have to wait and see what I get for Christmas!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2

Good going stahshee! I like to do that too, being money that I have remaining after my last trip, I like to keep it in savings for my next trip, or or....preferably my next trip. I too, am hoping that I will receive gift cards for Christmas, instead of something that I really do not need nor wish for. I have told people please I do not need a gift, just gift cards, Target is at the top of my list, and of course Disney gift cards.

I have 3 Subway gift cards that I have from our last trip 28$
I just cashed out at MYPOINTS a 25$ Olive garden Gift card.... as a bouns for cashing out I get a free 15$ FTD gift card( which I will order something through mypoints again to earn more$)As of today I have a 28$ Sub way card. @22$ in SunShine Rewards and a 25 $ Olive Garden Gift card =0 all free:banana:

Once again, that is really great! Keep up the good work. :)

I have not taken part in My Points in a long time. Never really sure how long it may take, before I can cash out. Any tips would be appreciated. :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~ Merry Christmas! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
one more thing. My DD did get a free gift card to Apple Bees for a childs meal... I will use that for my trip:thumbsup2
