It isn't our day to book yet...but playing with Be Our Guest for dinner in September....can't ever get a reservation for 5.
Could I do a reservation for 4?
#5 in our family will be 2 at the time and I don't care if she has to sit in my lap for dinner ...just want to eat here once for my oldest daughter.

Didn't know if I would be allowed to sit 5 in 4 chairs....the youngest doesn't require a paid for meal due to her age.

Thanks!

Table for 5 doesn't always work. I'd book for six and then just drop one once it is in your account. Not sure why that fifth person creates a system glitch but I would definitely go up and search by the even number....it will work! Strange but true.

If you can't make an ADR for 5, make it for 6. Never ever under-count. You risk not being able to be seated. Disney won't seat 5 people at a table that only holds 4. Plus on the rare occasion a restaurant is booked to capacity, the extra person won't be allowed in.

trying for 6, no luck....
that is why I tried 4.

thankfully, I have a few days until it is our official 6am login date....
but the no availability for 5 or 6 daily for dinner is scaring me.

thank you!

On any reservation you need to include everyone so in your case look for a table for 6. It is a fire and safety code concern. It's unlikely, but in the rare case the restaurant is at capacity one person in your group could be denied entry.

It's always easier to book for more people and show up with fewer. Just let the CM at the podium know that there are only 5 of you.

On a more practical level, booking for 4 and showing up with 5 will require a larger sized table - a 6 top instead of a 4 top so you could end up waiting longer to be seated.

We are a family of 5, & I was able to get a BoG on our 180+10 day. I called right at 7:00 am, booked our CRT dinner first, & then booked BoG.

I might should have booked BOG first because, while I had no problems getting CRT for the exact time we wanted, I only had 2 choices of times for BoG - 4:55 or 8:30 pm.

Try to schedule BoG for as late in your trip as you can.

Our BoG ADR is for our 10th night - so, when I called, I was only "competing" for times w/ other 180+10 people, if that makes sense. My 180+10 day was 3/18, & our BoG ADR is for 9/23.

(CRT is for our 2nd night which is why I booked it 1st & then booked BoG which is for our 10th night, but, again, I might have had better luck w/ a better time if I had booked BoG first. We took the 4:55 pm, but I really wanted something closer to 5:30 pm.)
