Family Magic Tour?

I was looking for some advise on the 'Family Magic Tour'. If you've taken it...how was it and how do u rate it and would you recommend it? If it was a choice between a dinner show or the tour...which would u choose? thanks!!

We did the Family Magic Tour this past June and loved it!!! The kids had a blast and wanted to do it again (no concept of money). We all had a great interaction with Peter Pan and Wendy. My kids are dd8, dd6 and ds4. I am not sure if there is a show/dinner I would trade this for. We have done almost all character meals so this was something different for this trip. Another tour that was great was the Behind the Seeds tour at The Land in Epcot. Its only 1 hour and fairly cheap (around $12 but they take dvc, ap and vs discounts), in Oct I asked my kids what their favorite part of this trip was and they all said this tour!!!

We did it 12/13. My boys are 6 and 4. They loved it. You basically go around the Kingdom, following clues that Peter Pan has given to the tour guide. Peter stole Captain's favorite hook and we need to find it, fast! So, it's a hunt, going from clue to clue, acting silly, much of the time. What a blast we had! I would recommend it for anyone that likes being silly and has some young kids. There were younger children on the tour and then some older ones, also. Everyone seemed to have fun, but especially Ryan, who sat and talked with Peter during the entire Philharmagic show. DH said that Peter was talking as much and they just conversed back and forth. What a kid that Peter is. LOL

Our tour also was the same story line. Following the clues around MK was hysterical. At times we had to jump, sing, skip and hop. MK was full that day and I can't imagine what other guests were thinking. The best part was how the adults got involved. There was a cop on tour with us and we were suppose to be hiding and he lead us crawling through Cosmic Ray's, very amusing!!! We all had a great time!!!

Went on the tour in October....kids and "grownups"(don't tell Peter we were grownup) alike had a great time....pixie dust, scavenger hunt to find Hook's favorite hook...Peter can't remember where he hid it......through Magic Kingdom, searching for it......gotta get it before time runs out...."treasure map"....hop, sing, skip, jump, ballet....crawl across floors, look high and low.....hook is found...kids get a majority choice of which attraction....Small World or Mickey's Philharmagic....Peter and/or Wendy accompany the tour guests....what a wonderfully, magical, Family Magic Tour this is....I say go for the tour and enjoy!
