Has anyone done the Family Magic Tour at MK?
My wife and I have done Keys to the Kingdom and loved it, but we're taking the kids 14 & 10 and most tours you must be 16.

hi, we did it 20th may, it was amazing, the absolute highlight of out two weeks in florida, we did it on DD's 7th birthday and it was a total surprise to her, she loves peter pan, so it was perfect. That said, I'm not sure if your 14 yr old would like it, i would say it was aimed at under tens, my other DDwas 9 and she was the perfect age to follow the clues. maybe others with older children could give you their opinion.
enjoy your holiday whatever you decide to do. :earsgirl: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

We did the Family Magic Tour in May and it was AWESOME!! IT was the highlight of our trip my DS(11) and DD(8) are still raving about it. They got to meet PeterPan and Wendy and they were thrilled to death - esp DD - LOL _ she has been inlove with Peter since she was 5. I think as long as your kid wants to have fun and do not mind acting goofy they will love it! You can get a discount on the tour if you have AAA or Disney Visa :flower:

from what I've read, and heard of the family magic tour, I think 14 & 10 may be a little too old to really enjoy the tour :confused3

we are going in August with my DS, who will turn 12 on the trip. We are also doing the Mickey Magical Milestones tour which seems to be more "grown up" and talks about the history of Mickey Mouse.

We love the Family Magic Tour! I have a feeling your teens will think it is uncool to be skipping and hopping all over MK but you know your teens the best. You follow clues all over the park and at the end you meet a character--usually Peter Pan and Wendy--but you never know who it will be. While your following the clues you have to skip, jump, act like characters, crawl, play follow the leader, etc. Will your kids like doing that? Mine is 5 so she thinks silly is great. As an adult I think it's great that the kids get such a kick out of seeing the adults do everything along side them. :goodvibes

It depends. It is more geared to younger kids, but if they like acting goofy in public, it could be fun. The 10 year old might especially enjoy the 14 year old doing the stunts. It just depends on the kids, for sure.

I guess you ain't no hollaback girl.

We just did it and it was fabulous for us. Our girls are 8, 6, and 1. They loved watching mom, dad and aunt skip and hop through the park. That being said, there was a family in our group with kids about the same age as yours that left as soon as they found out that we would be flying through the park. I don't know if it was the kids or the grandmother who had the problem, but we heard grumbling about this being for young kids. That being said, all the grownups in our group enjoyed it as much as the kids. Peter and Wendy were wonderful. If your kids are the kind that would be too embarrassed to participate, then this might not be the tour for you.
