We want to do the Family Magic Tour with our 7 year old DD. What day is the best day to do this particular tour?

I don't know if any day is better than any other - but we did this tour last year and I can tell you it was fabulous!

Can't tell you but I can tell you that most of the tours for early May are booked. I tried to add 2 to my tour on the 7th and it was booked. When I checked other dates they couldn't find one open!

Could someone please remind me what this tour is all about and what is the cost? TIA :teeth:

OK, I did find info on this after doing a search (sorry should have done the search before asking).

However, I do have a question. Is it just the kids who do the silly stuff? It appears from other posts that the adults get into to it too. Do they all get into it? What happens if you don't, does it ruin it or anything? We have a 15 year old with us who I am sure would feel uncomfortable doing the goofy antics, yet might enjoy the tour and mystery portion. Would like to do this as a family but don't want to embarrass her. What do you think???

Has anyone ever done this tour the week between Christmas and New Year? I was wondering if it would be worth it considering the crowd levels in MK that week.

I booked the family magic tour the Sunday before Columbus Day. I figured it would be alittle more crowded that Sunday & we would have 2 hours doing the tour rather than dealing with lines & crowds. That's our last day in WDW so hopefully we will have ridden everything we wanted & that seemed like a good way to end our trip.

Have fun! :goodvibes

Do you think my kids ages 11 and 3 would like it? How about adults, do they like it to? princess: princess:

I've been to Disney 5 times total in my life and was wondering if I should try a tour! princess: princess:

Everyone in my family's tour group was encouraged to act silly, but some people were more into it than others. We were following clues left by Peter Pan that led us to different places in Magic Kingdom, taught us a little trivia, and took us around a lot of places. I enjoyed the tour for more than just our children, but I would say it was aimed at families with younger than teenage children. If the 15 y/o might like a little Disney trivia and having fun being silly with a big group also being silly, then include her. I think otherwise the mystery might be a bit beneath her. You might want to tell her what you have planned and give her the option of going around MK with a cell phone on her own for a couple of hours.

Everybody will be asked to do the silly stuff. The tour guide will persist in trying to get the "not so enthusiastic" involved. We had a couple of people that didn't want to get involved in ours. It didn't exactly ruin it but I felt badly for the tour guide who tried in vain to get them involved. Everybody else still seemed to have great fun, though.
