Has anyone taken the Family Magic Tour at MK lately? Leaving Sunday and trying to decide if it's worth the money. Would like to try something different this trip. Anyone have any reviews they would like to share??

Thanks:D

We did it this August. Our kids were 7,5 & 5. They had a blast, and, except for the heat, we all had a good time acting a little Goofy and a little Dopey. Our tour had 4 families, or about 15-20 people total. We had about 1/2 hour at the end of our tour with 2 characters, and then we went with them to see Philharmagic. I don't want to spoil any surprises, so if you want more details, PM me and I'll PM you back.
At $25/person, it was a little steep, but as a one-time, something out-of-the-ordinary activity, we thought it was worth it. I think it will depend on how old your kids are and how willing everyone in your family is to let loose and act silly. (We had no problem with this, after all, we're never going to see any of those people again!)

Hope this helps.

We did it 2 weeks ago, Me, DH, DD (20) and DS (5). We had so much fun. I would tell anyone to try it once. If you have a Disney Visa you save 15% off the price.

Thanks for the info. My DD's are 10 & 11, but I think they would enjoy it because it's something new. And, we never have a problem with acting silly because as you said we will never see anyone we know.:Pinkbounc We are suppose to leave in the morning, but DH just asked couldn't we leave late this afternoon and get their early.ha :Pinkbounc Haven't finished my first cup of coffee yet, but just wondering if I can get everything packed and actually make it happen. Thanks again for your help.

My family attended the Family Magic Tour as guests of another Dis family. We all had a wonderful, wonderful time. I wrote about it in length in my trip report. I also included lots of photos. Click here for my trip report -- just look for the post on that page entitled "Day 2: Grand Floridian (Part 2)" on that page.

We just did this on Friday - we got the 15% off special with the Visa, and we had a good time, but we wouldn't do it again. My DD got to sit next to our "special guest" during Philharmagic, so that made it worth it for us.
