I want to do this but DH is putting his foot down and saying no. I also think that DD might like it as well.

Anybody have any experiences on this that can help me pursuade him.

If it involves anything behind the scences etc etc

Thanks.

We had a fantastic time on this tour, its is unique in that it is aimed more towards families with young children. Without giving too much away, you will be on a quest through the MK, following clues which the children can read out, and get you hopping, jumping, imitating animals to name a few. And if you complete your quest there will be some very special character interaction at the end, plus a backstage way into one of the attractions with the character. My kids had so much fun, and still talk about their special time with the character. i think its well worth doing and is one of the better value tours available.:thumbsup2

Does he mind making a fool of himself? It is a tour for familys - children aged 8-10 are about perfect for it and will have fun. There are no behind the scene bits but you do meet some characters. To be honest I can understand why a man might not want to do it but there were lots of dads joining in when we did it.

We did this last month. My DDs are 15, 12 and 10 so, apart from my youngest, quite a bit too old ;) but in all honesty I booked it for me! :yay: Thank you girls for humouring your embarrassing old mum!

There were two other families on the tour, both with much younger children who were totally spellbound with the whole thing which made it much more magical than if had just been us.

As there was an extra parade on that morning we were unable to visit the usual attraction at the end of the tour ~ instead we had extra time with the characters which was absolutely priceless! :cloud9:

We're booked for July. I'm looking forward to it and dh gets no say in this house:rotfl:

We did this last October - DD, DMum and I. My DH and Ddad decided to have a lazy day at the hotel.

We had a blast - especially DD who was 5 at the time.:goodvibes Probably wouldn't be of much interest to teenagers (unless they have younger siblings, and aren't "too cool" for this kinda stuff!):hippie:

We had a group of about 20 people of all ages. Be prepared to join in, have a laugh and to make lasting memories for your children!;)

This tour sounds great! Hope I am not hijacking the thread by asking if it would be suitable for a 26 month old and if I get a discount with my AP??:)

You get 15% off with an AP (I just did the Behind the Seeds tour, and saved a few dollars).

Thanks!:thumbsup2 I thought there may be a discount. I have also booked a Segway tour and got discount on that!;)

Great! The tours have all kinds of discounts - AP, AAA, DVC, Disney Visa - it's almost hard NOT to get a discount! :)

If you find time, the Behind the Seeds tour was terrific, I put up pics here: http://www.mousesteps.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=36&Itemid=67

That is the only tour I've done in photos so far, but I really enjoyed it (and it was short and pretty cheap). :)

Your child will be fine. Both the other families on our tour had small children in buggies ~ the tour doesn't go anywhere that a buggy can't go and they won't miss out on any of the magic if they are sat in one. :goodvibes

I totally agree with Ware Bears - having a stroller will not stop you or your little one from enjoying the tour.:)
