Can someone please give me some info on the family magic tour - how do you book it, is it worth it, can you be sure to get Peter Pan as your guide, how many people per tour?

Thanks! :sunny:

We did this last year a loved it!! It was the highlight of our trip. You can book it by calling 407-939-8687. If you have AAA, AP or DisneyVisa you can get a discount on the tour - make sure to tell the CM when you are booking if you have any of these. We used DisneyVisa and got 20% off the price.

When I called last year I was told that the tour was limited to 20 people and that it is only offered once a day at 10 am - we had about 16 total on our tour and it was great! We truely felt like VIP's and had so much fun. When I booked I was also told that the characters can change. I booked hoping that we would get Peter Pan and we did - we had Peter Pan and Wendy. I have heard of other tours having different characters but for the most part it is usually Peter Pan and Wendy. Also the character is not your guide for the tour - a CM will be your guide and you get a private meet and greet with the characters during the last part of the tour - Our group had a great meet and greet with Peter and Wendy , they told a story , played with the kids, posed for pictures and signed autographs , we played follow the leader through part of the park with them and we got to see Mickey's Philharmagic with them in the front row after that they handed out Magical Moment certificates for the families in the tour - It was really fun!!

If you haven't done this one it is definately worth it and I would suggest booking early as it seems to be getting more popular with all the great reviews! I won't get into all the details of the tour incase you want to be surprised and enjoy the magic as it happens but this one is a definate must for us :sunny:

My family did this several years ago, so I don't know if anything has changed. We absolutely loved it. Our children were about 9 and 15 at the time and Sue was our tour guide. To completely enjoy it, you have to be able to think and act like a child. Your tour guide will have you do silly things in the park that might embarrass some families---not ours!! I don't want to give anything away, but acting like crocodiles was one example.

Peter Pan was at the end of the tour and he was great! He fit all the children, even my 15 year old daughter with him on the same boat on the Flight of Peter Pan. The same Peter Pan recognized my kids during the afternoon parade and walked over to them. They felt so special!

I told our friends about the tour and they booked it. They got Snow White at the end of their tour!! That makes no sense to me. They enjoyed it, but not nearly as much as we did.

We just did this tour in May and loved every minute of it. I think it is well worth the money for the extra magic that you feel.

I agree with the others - you really feel like a VIP.

We also had Peter Pan and Wendy. :thumbsup2
