What is this? My friend and I are taking our 5 year old boys this December and thought this might be something we would like to do. However, I can't find anything that tells me exactly what it is. Help! Also, we would like for them to do the pirates cruise or the cooking class. Any suggestions on which one is better? Thanks!

The Family Magic Tour was great. Did it last year w/ 9 yo, 5 yo and 2 yo. We had Corey as our Guide. He was GREAT!!! Corey says that Peter Pan and Wendy need help finding Captain Hook's hook or else CH will take over Magic Kingdom. We followed a 'treasure map' and went to various parts of MK to find our next clue. It was a lot of fun. We had to do silly (but not embarrassing) tasks. It is a lot more fun if the adults in the group are willing to play along. This is no time to act grown up! We got to see Philharmagic w/ Wendy and Peter after we found the hook. We got a nifty certificate and some great pictures.

Don't know about the other programs but anything at WDW is fun for us!

I set it up for my family including our then almost 2 year old DD, she got sick the night before so she and I didn't attend, but the rest of the family, my DH, inlaws, and parents had a great time on the tour.

The key is that everyone needs to participate and be open minded about being silly in public but if my very straight laced inlaws could lighten up enough to do it, anyone should be able to.

They all still thank me for all my hard work getting that vacation together.

Hope that helps.
