Hi we did it in April with dd 13 ds 3 and dn 11 they all seem to enjoy it, the leader cm tries to involve all including the adults so if you don't like to be silly in public don't do it.we had to search for captain hook's hook and met peter pan at the end who rode the iasw with our group. your 7 yr old will enjoy i think.
My wife, dd 9, ds 6, and I took the tour in May. It was absolutely great! Captain Hook's hook has been stolen and they need everyone in the group to follow clues in order to find the hook before Captain Hook really throws a fit. The clues lead you all over the park ending up with a meeting with Peter Pan. He was just wonderful with all of the kids. He tells them really funny stories and has his picture made with everyone. After that, he took everyone to Mickey's Philharmagic. We were celebrating my son's birthday so Peter Pan let him sit next to him during the show and hold the Captain Hook's hook! This may have been the highlight of our week at WDW.
Lots of fun with our sons who are 9,6, and 3. It is more fun if all the adults interact, too. My guys were more thrilled with holding the hook than actually being with Peter Pan and Wendy at the end. What was really fun was playing follow the leader with the Peter and Wendy. We went from the little park behind the Christmas Shop in Liberty Square to IASW.
