My daughter and I are going to Disney in February with her Grandma and Grandpa.
My father always likes to do something special with my daughter. For example, they will go fishing together or something like that. Anyway... trying to think of something new. My dad said no fishing this year (been there, done that).
Has anyone been on the Family Magic Tour at Magic Kingdom? It sounds like fun and something my 7 year old might like... but what about for the parents/grandparents? Is it fun for all, or is it mainly for the kids? Is it really an activity they do "together" or is it more of the kids being up front with the tour guides and the parents/grandparents bringing up the rear?
My father doesn't like the Perry the Platypus activity at Epcot. It is something of a running joke in the family about how much he HATES that activity and how much my daughter loves it. Is the Family Magic Tour similar?
I just don't want to send my dad and my daughter on a tour if they won't actually be doing something "together" and I certainly don't want my dad to think I am torturing him with another Perry-like thing
Other ideas for grandparent activity? My daughter doesn't like rides, movies, or anything loud. We all love Disney and I like finding new things to do since we don't do the rides.
