Family Honeymoon?

We are getting married in December and the two of us are going on a honeymoon. We are going to DW in June 2007 however and taking the two kids. I am thinking about presenting it to them as a family honeymoon because they are SOOOO excited about the wedding. My question is, I think they would get a kick out of people knowing that we are on our family honeymoon but how can I do this without completely embarrassing DH (think NO family mickey ears!)? I was considering tshirts but am not sure about all of us matching everyday.....

SimonV and I had both our families with us for our 'Honeymoon' (though they stayed at our house and we stayed at a luxury resort ). My mother had T-shirts made for everyone, with our wedding date on them (and a picture of Cinderella and Prince Charming, but that's optional....) and I cannot tell you how many people stopped us and wished us well. It was great fun!

We did have a bit of extra 'magic' from some of the CM's, which was a lovely, unexpected touch. I would highly recommend T-shirts (you gotta wear something, right? ). They're not as 'playful' as mouse ears, but for us they were good fun and a lovely memento of the best week of our lives.

We just got home from our Family Honeymoon! Had a blast. I did have t-shirts made up stating our family honeymoon. Plus, you can get buttons that have a picture of Mickey and Minnie in wedding clothes stating it's your happily ever after. On the days we didn't have the made up shirts on, we wore matching colors. My DH thought it would be kind of silly but really got into it. PLUS it is so easy to find each other in the same color shirts! If I take my older kids down this fall I will have a matching wardrope for sure!! Probably do something like a "Mom and Me" trip.
