Hello !!
We live in Michigan (currently) and we're coming up to Toronto Monday and Tuesday. Just found out it is family day, so planning on doing the CN Tower on Monday cause it is buy one pass get one free and the Hockey Hall of Fame Tuesday. We are staying at the Courtyard Marriott in downtown Toronto on Yonge Street on my Marriott points. My goodness, your all's parking is expensive at hotels! :confused3
Any suggestions on things to "must do" at either place would be appreciated!!

It's about half what we paid in San Francisco and less than half of what we paid in NYC. It's crowded in downtown Toronto!

The Royal Ontario Museum is a great place to visit as is the Bata Shoe Museum. The Auto Show is downtown on Monday as well at the convention centre.

I second the Royal Ontario Museum. New Dinosaur exhibit has just opened and it is great to see.

Thanks guys, we will definitely try to make it to the museum. If not, we plan on spending most of our summer vacation taking trips up into Canada. Can't wait to see Niagara Falls and everything! Our passports just came in as well, so that should keep us legit as the rules change for border crossing. :goodvibes

check out the Hockey Hall of Fame

Hey Guys!!
We got back late last night from Toronto and loved it! We did the Hockey Hall of Fame and the CN Tower. We plan on going back again to do the museum and others, but those two definitely filled up our two days. Family day made the parking a little crazy and we ended up parking our car at the Marriott downtown where we stayed and then taking a taxi to the places we wanted to go.
It was really nice and we spent lots of money, :rotfl: We had been to Vancouvers side of Canada, but wanted to try over here. Now we just have to go back and catch a hockey game!! :yay:

Glad to hear you had a good time here. Good luck on the catching a hockey game while in Toronto. Tickets are expensive if you van get time. I haven't been up the cn tower in years. I'm thinking we shall do it this summer.
