Family cruise

Okay, I have three kids (19, 10, & 7) and am wondering if they are going to enjoy a cruise? My wife and I have never been on one but have heard wonderful things about them. I am sure that she and I would enjoy it but would the kids be bored or are there many activities for them, even if they all have different interests? Also, for first timers, what length of cruise would you recommend?

Hi,

You've come to the right place for info. There are many activities for families & the kids on Disney Cruise.
Your 19 year old can enjoy the adult activities like swimming in the adult only pool, the spa, the lounges, the adult dance party, bingo & more.
Your ten year old & seven year old can enjoy the oceanneers lab or kids club. Many group age appropreiate activities to enjoy. The lab & kids club is open 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. I believe?? You will get a pager so that you can keep in touch with the staff & your kids if there are any problems. I'm sure lots of parents can give you some more details.
I would suggest a 4 day cruise on the Wonder for your first time. I've heard many time that the 3 day is just too short!!! Have fun!!

We just got back from a 4 day Wonder cruise, and the kids (8,6,and 5) absolutely LOVED it!

Between the Mickey pool, Castaway Cay, the kids clubs and the Mickey Bars.... they were constantly going and having a good time....


I booked the same thing plus a 3 day at WDW for next year!

Is there enough room in a cabin for 5 people or would we have to get two adjoining rooms? So much to learn about these cruises!!!!

We were in a Cat 3 cabin and had 3 kids and 2 adults. More than enough room. Im not sure about a cat 4 cabin.
