Family Boating Pass

Where can I get more info on Family boating passes. It sounds like a great idea. Can you use boats at any Disney resort or only one you are staying at?

There are only certain marinas that offer this. It is a marina plan, not resort plan, which might be a better way to phase it. People have stayed at OKW and do this at WL or Poly. I do know that the GF marina does not off this. I believe the campsite one is limited to guest only. You can write the recreation manager at the resort you want to do this at. I have actually asked CRO when I was making resort reservations and they were able to tell me where it was offered. But think of this as a Marina Plan not resort plan. I do not believe it is offered at the Contempory , but not positive

This is what I know:
They have it at WL
It is $199 for up to five people, not any less if there is only 2 people. You have unlimited access to water mice, but I'm not sure what else, and you can only take the boats out an hour at a time, then you go back, if there is no one waiting to use your boat, you can go back out, but you do have to check in after an hour.
You do NOT have to be a guest at WL to d this, but I think you do have to be a WDW resort guest/on property.

That is all I know for sure! There was abunch of posts about this over on the resort board awhile ago and this is what I remember.
Maybe a search on that board could explain it better.

Can someone explain to me what a "water Mice" is??. Is it foot propelled our motor propelled? What age limits apply?

They are two person (Max weight is 250lbs I think, we usually do one adult and one child or one adult to each boat) motorized speedboats. Easy to drive, lots of fun!
