I prefer to stay UNPLUGGED for 1 game night a week =) So BOARD GAMES!! I have a 4yr old and I want her to be able to play with my almost 6yr old DS who is learning to read and my older DDs as well as DH and myself. Im thinking Jenga is for sure! What other games can I add under the tree for the entire family? I want to designate some time every Sunday to play fun games with the kids, we have movie night every Saturday and this is not really social time. :goodvibes

We love to play Apples to Apples and Yahtzee as a family. Some other favorites are Chess, Battleship and Connect 4 but they are only 2 player games.

Hedbanz is a great game for that age. There is even a Disney Hedbanz game. I got ours at Target. Easy to play and the whole family has fun.

Not a board game but Uno is good for all ages. We also have the DVD/board game Disney Scene It. The kids (DD8 and DS6) love this one. It's great for all ages and tests your memory for Disney movies.

Sorry and trouble.

Yatzee JR, Monopoly jr.

Uno

Not unplugged but we have enjoyed Disney Scene It.

I love board games and each family member gets one for the Holiday. This year is uno attack, cribbage, chess teacher and chinese checkers. :santa:

Catch Phrase(the electronic one) is so much fun! We love to play this even at big family gatherings.

Do you have Guess Who? for the little ones. I saw the have a kid version of Master Mind. Phase 10 & Phase 10 dice. We play alot of Disney Sorry. We started playing Crazy 8's last year. My older kid like Clue. We have also make some kind of target & play with the nerf gun. Yahtzee I love. Being from the Mid-west I think we need to start teaching our kids Euchre;)

We love family game nights! Some of our favorites (with a 4 year old) - Sorry, Trouble, Uno Attack, Head Bandz, Guess Who. I think this year he is also asking for the Scooby Doo board game, but I haven't seen that one yet.

Sorry is one of our family favorites.

:cool1:So many great ideas to start me off!! I was avoiding CandyLand and Chutes and Ladders Im glad theres so many more options I hadnt thought of!

Another vote for Apples to Apples junior here! We all love that game. Sometimes we have to get creative because dd is 7 years older than ds. So anything easy enough for him was dead boring for her. The game of Life became a favorite. We helped him when he needed help and she was completely into it! We got the Haunted Mansion version at Disney a few years ago.
This years board game for under the tree is the Disney version of Clue. I want to pick up the Disney trivial pursuit as well!

Oh and how could I almost forget.. PICTUREKA!!! That one is a winner with everyone and we play at least once a month:goodvibes

We love family game night too! Some of our favs... Uno, Whoonu, Pictureka! and our new favorite, Qwirkle!

A HUGE thumbs up for The Ladybug Game...run to Target ASAP since it's in this week's ad for $8. We've had it for two years & still love playing it! :thumbsup2

Our latest family favorite is the card game Five Crowns--it supposed to be for ages 8+ but with a little help DS6 can to play it too. You won't regret introducing this one to the family mix either! My favorite is Blokus...we have the regular version but I see that they have a Jr version too.

Love family game night! :lovestruc

I bought Busytown (Richard Scarry) game for my niece last year. I played it with a 15, 6, and 4 year old and we ALL loved it. I found it on Amazon.
