How does ABD work for families of 6 or 7(my mom usually comes along)? I know that we would have to be in multiple rooms but price wise how does it work? The ages of the kids are 3, 6, 8, 12 and then 3 older adults(not telling ages )

I believe their is a price/person regardless of how many people are going. There is one price for adults and one for children.

That's correct -- the adult/child price won't change unless someone ends up in a room alone, in which case there would be a single supplement.

With a family of six, you could end up in two triples or three doubles. Since the price is the same, I'd go for the doubles and have room to move around! If it's seven, then you'll likely have two doubles and a triple. Our family of five had a double and a triple for Imperial Cities, and in each hotel the rooms were connecting.

There are nine of us traveling together for Flavors of France -- three doubles and one triple. I'm working on an Emerald Isle trip for a client and his extended family of 20 (!), so I'm sure we'll see every configuration before we're done!

Which trip are you thinking of? For each one, the website specifically notes accommodation info. For example, for the Flavors of France tour:

• Parties of three in Aix-en-Provence are accommodated in one room with one king bed and a rollaway.
• Parties of three in Paris are accommodated in one room having either two double beds or one king bed and a rollaway.
• Parties of four booked as a quad:
o In Aix-en-Provence, quads are accommodated in two connecting rooms, each having either two twin beds or one king bed.
o In Paris, quads are accommodated in one Family Room with one king bed and two twin beds or two connecting rooms, each having two double beds or one king bed.
• Parties of four booked as two doubles are accommodated in two rooms, each having one king bed, two double beds or two twin beds.
• Connecting rooms may be requested.

We are doing our first ABD this year. I have 4 kids, and my husband and myself. We booked 2 triple rooms, and asked for them to be connecting rooms whenever possible. There is a child discount which helps with the cost of the trip. With a family of this size, all trips are expensive, Disney or not!
You may want to research a little more about the ages of children allowed on the trips. I do not believe they allow any children under the age of 4. And many activities that are offered are not able to be done by children under the age of 6. We waited until this year to do an ABD because my youngest child is now 6. Good luck!
