Probably, though, I can't help see this as another attempt to do a V-type show... perhaps there is a better chance of it working out than there is for V because it'll be on cable. However, it is being produced by Dreamworks, so I wonder if that'll spike its price much faster than TNT will be willing to pay increases.

I'm a sucker for TEOTWAWKI stories so, yeah, I'll probably check it out. Anyone see any info on exactly when in June it starts or what night it airs?

TNT hasn't released that info yet - perhaps even haven't made the decision yet. And it is impossible to even make a good guess, because TNT isn't presenting any original series in the Spring, so we can't even figure that it'll start the week after a currently-airing series ends. (Southland's finale is in early March, and everything else they have is going to return in June, at the earliest.)

TNT does have a heck of a lot to program this summer:

Falling Skies - 10 episodes
Franklin & Bash - 10 episodes
Hawthorne - 10 episodes
Leverage - about 12 episodes (out of a total of 15 ordered)
Memphis Beat - 10 episodes
( ... and then a little later in the summer ... )
The Closer - 6 remaining episodes
Men of a Certain Age - 6 remaining episodes
Rizzoli & Isles - 13 episodes

Well, if the countdown on the page I posted the link for is correct, 102 days from now is Friday June 10th.

Of course, it also says 2hrs, 5 mins which would put it at 3pm.

Seems a waste to put an original, scripted drama on Friday night over the summer. With the over-the-air broadcast networks in reruns, it seems like the whole week is ripe for picking.
