I love those pages!! Great job! Did you say this was a class you took? We're taking my parents in September, and I know that I want to make them a book, but they won't want one of the ginormous ones I usually make for myself. Something like this would highlight the best pics for them!

Thanks! I added a few more pages on the blog. I can't take credit, just good instructions and a really nice staff at Recollections. It was a fabulous class $100 bucks and you got everything, including album. It made 20 pages. I have copied and sent out the instructions to a few. I could also try and take clearer close pictures.

Yeah- keeping this secret will not be easy. How did you guys do it on the last secret sister swap. I made something last night and almost posted it on the new blog. Ooops. What do you do about post marks or do we just all promise not to look where it came from??

yeah, I was wondering about the postmark also. I could put a return address of Florida but if postmark is Washington I'm sure someone would figure it out! So I'm thinking that click-it and ship-it or the automated at the PO because they don't seem to actually postmark those-any thoughts?

Also, I know it's a $10 minimum but how much are you all ACTUALLY going to spend? Even a range would be ok, just so I can get an idea, please

I had a few extra minutes and heard "JoAnn's" calling me so I headed that way. The store was just revamped and they reduced the scrapping area and enlarged the bead area - now that just doesn't seem like a good marketing strategy to me at all I did get a couple of items but I was like - well okay I am not making another trip to this store - and they used to have such good stuff! BUT SS "do not fear" I will find another place that can fulfill some of your wish list

and, I agree it is difficult to make sure that I don't post something that is a "give-a-way" to my SS...................... I can tell that I need to be "sneaky"

I would say that many of the regular swappers might be willing to send packages for people other than our hostesses too, just to keep them from getting inudated. I purposely don't look at the return address or postmark because I would rather be surprised.

I love my SS's and yes I will be trying to figure out who mine is again! Sorry, I think I was a spy or detective in a past life. But I do not peek at the post mark. It's like a christmas gift, I'll shake the heck out of it but I won't open it.
