I have yet to experience DL HM!!! Is there much difference from the WDW version?

Yes there is quite a big difference.

1. The elevators actually move in the DL version.

2. You walk down the hallway vs the hallway being part of the ride.

The part that surprises me is five days for the holiday overlay of Space Mountain (SM:GG). I thought that when it first went in, people were saying that once the projection equipment was in, all they would have to do in the future was to basically turn it on. Apparently that's not the case? What do they need to do for an entire work-week, if the projection gear is already there? Or is that assumption wrong?

Assuming then that It's a Small World won't be closed? I have yet to see the darn thing ever at DL!

Kind of bummed about TSMM and Roger Rabbit. Last time we rode it over and over, and to me that is what Toon Town is! So the ride just adds to it!

Cool -- we're going in mid October. One the last of out three trips, HM was down for two of them. I'm glad that it'll be up this time .

Oh no, I'm SO bummed that TSMM will be down when we are there, my son was looking forward to it so much . Any chance you think it'll come back up early? We are in the park until October 2nd.

I really wanted to see Toy Story, since we haven't ever ridden it. I like HM and SM, but don't feel as bad since we have already had the opportunity to experience them. Hopefully, they re-open it early and we can go at some point during our trip.

I am VERY dissapointed TSMM is going to be closed while we are there. I have been telling my mom about this ride all year!!! Now that she is finally excited about it I am going to have to tell her that she wont be able to check it out.

Well so far it looks like most things will be up and running for our 3 day trip.

I am a bit panicked though though that it will be wicked crowded on the Sunday we arrive because its the first day the So Cal residents can use their passes (which of course is why we are going).

But it will be nice that no major rides will be closed.. at least for that!
