Fall rates and blackout dates and WL

Hi guys -

I was just wondering if anyone had any luck getting BAT discounted rooms at Wilderness Lodge on the blackout dates. I know that they are offering BAT discounts at other resorts on at least some of the blackout dates. The first day of my stay is a blackout date (11/27). I have a reservation for that single day at the AAA rate, and then the rest of the 6 days at the BAT rate. I've been calling to try to get that first night added on, but no luck so far. I'm just wondering if I'm completely wasting my time or what. The CM's keep saying "Keep trying back" so maybe it might be possible.

Hi! I was able to use the BAT code for our entire stay, and the 1st night was included in the blackout dates that are listed (Nov.13). I was very surprised but I wasn't about to ask why! I have received the confirmation in the mail showing the discounted rate for all of our dates.

I GOT IT!!!!

Calling every day really pays off. I called again today about 3:15 ET and they had the black out day available!! I couldn't believe it - I had her repeat back to me twice to make sure it was right!! I've found the best luck with the 800 828 0228 although they are probably all using the same system. So now all seven days of my reservation are on the BAT discount.

Dates that Disney says are not available for the discount.

Rates are valid most nights 10/31/04 - 12/25/04, but not available at all from 11/10-11/13/04 and 11/23-11/27/04. The number of rooms available at these rates is limited.
Specially priced rates may also be available 9/30-10/30/04.
