Fall Promotions

I was able to book on the phone directly with Disney AND....

Thanksgiving wasn't blacked out...:yay:

so...call....I didn't book through Costco because all they had was the theme park view...and I saved over $300 booking with Disney to get a ctyard view.

Are there any "extras" included in the fall package that just came out (free character meal, etc.) or is it a straight dollar-off discount?

I wasn't told of any extras...just the usual....I know Costco will get you the free meal.

I don't know how you guys are being able to book.

I've called three different times already and got three different answers every time. I'm getting so frustrated.

Are the discounts showing for anyone online yet?? It's not showing for me.

I saw nothing online...I just called the Disney # and asked about a fall discount...
Expedia has discounted rates...and I said "do you have them too". For our dates...we were able to book the deal.

I believe its called "fall30"...hope this helps....

we booked GCH...at Thanksgiving:thumbsup2

Nope, not yet. I think those guys are booking the Costco promo.

And whoa, cruising in two months! I'm so jealous!!!

Costco online has the rates...but not all hotels came up for me...

also...Expedia had discounted room only rates...

Disney was a package

Thank you, i'll try saying this when I call again right now :goodvibes

The first CM said 5 adults cannot stay in one room (not true, since I called the GCH directly and asked AND have booked during this promotion for 3 years already)

The 2nd CM said he could only apply the promotion to Concierge rooms at the GCH and could not be applied to standard (but 5 adults are allowed in Standard rooms:thumbsup2)

The 3rd CM said that 5 adults were allowed but ONLY in Concierge and not Standard rooms and that we have to get the package to use the promotion.

:upsidedow

Oh gotcha! :thumbsup2

Yes! I'm super excited! Except this whole Disneyland thing is giving me a headache! :rotfl2::headache:

Thank y'all for sharing this! We are now booked for 3 days and 3 nights at Paradise Pier Hotel. :cool1: :woohoo: :yay: Looking forward to our first trip to the DLR and our first time to any Disney Park for Halloween.

The rates came up online for me on disneyland.com. I booked a room only at DLH, upper level resort for $289 or something...came out to $325.26 with tax. I called and changed my reservation and got the same rate through the phone res. system. Oh, that's for Nov 29-Dec 2.

ETA: the rates did not come up the first time I tried but when I refreshed the site and tried again it worked.

Also, the Costco deal is really good if you need hoppers or want the character meal + $20 gc. For GCH standard, the cost difference for 3 nights was only $155 more total when I plugged in my dates and listed it as 1 adult. This is a good thing to try if anyone in your party has an ap--leave them out of the reservation, find out how much it costs and then call and make your reservation for all party members and have Costco take out the cost for the hopper for those who have aps. The cost should be the same as you had in your online offer. In other words, I have an ap and my sister does not. Instead of putting in '2 adults' I just put in one and the price that comes up is what Costco will charge you for 2, adjusting out the hopper ticket. Does that make sense? I can't seem to figure out how to word that well. So, for $155 more, we would have gotten a character meal each (2 people), a $20 gc and 1 2-day hopper. But since we can't use the character meal and don't need the hopper, we just booked room only.

I've tried refreshing several different ways, but still coming up with the regular rate. I may have to call.....(but was really trying to not have to wait on hold)popcorn::

I was on hold for a while right now, and still didn't get any rates!

He said that the discount should be showing up online, and I told him that I couldn't see it on my end, and he said, "That's strange."

I'm wondering when this is going to get fixed..

The link works!

Also, the AP rate is better now! Been extended to 11/12 I think. I originally had GCH for $285 at Halloween (10/30-11/8), but now got $266! WOO HOOOOO!:yay:

I have a rack rate reservation at the GCH for Nov. 12th that I made months ago through a travel agent. This ressie is my first time working with a travel agent. My agent is telling me that the discount is not applicable to existing reservations.

Have folks had any luck getting the discount applied to existing reservations? Should I just cancel my existing reservation and make a new one under the recently released rates?

what is the rate for DLH or PPH during that time? I have the voucher for my AP and can't view the calendar.

I would call the Disney Travel Company directly and see if they can apply the discount through their system. If they can't you can at least re-book with them while you are on the phone and cancel your travel agent dates.

Sorry guys - help clear this up for me...Can you stack a Disney Visa discount on top of the reduced rates that are now showing up on the DL website?

Can't tell on the website. It is somehow hidden in the background for only CMs to see. But PP is $225 and DLH is $284 (what is showing), so that would lead me to believe that (if rooms are still available) PP would be $174 and DLH would be $218? Don't quote my math though!

I don't believe that you can stack discounts. You're going to call and confirm that though. :)
