Fall Promotion to be released...

Are people waiting for the free dining announcement before they make any ADRs? :confused3 You can still make them and not have a reservation with Disney.

My 180th day is April 1 (no foolin' ;)). I plan to book our ADRs no matter what. HOWEVER . . .

Do I need to go ahead and book a reservation at the resort of my choice (CSR) in order to book ADRs for my entire stay in one call? I don't mind doing this since we're going whether there is free dining or not.

I start mine on April 1st too.
I'm going Sept 28 to Oct 8 staying at CBR.

To do the 180+10, you need to stay on-site, otherwise it's 180 days for each day you want to book an ADR. So I'm guessing you'll need to book your resort ressie in order to do your 180+10.

Do you mean there are folks who actually stay OFF site when visiting WDW!?!?:confused3 The nerve!! :snooty: . . . . .;)

K. If there are no discounts/free dining by 3/31, I will call & book CSR before WDTC closes that day. Then, I will call the following day (4/1) to make my ADRs.

BTW, I knew I had to stay on site to be eligible for the 180+10 (this isn't my first rodeo). What I do not recall is actually providing my confirmation number for the reservationist booking my ADRs in the past. That said, it only makes sense that I would need to have my reservation booked prior to calling for 180+10 ADRs.

The reservation number definitely comes into play when booking ADRs online. You have to put in your reservation number to unlock the +10. If you don't, the computer will just let you book for the 1 day. I don't know if you had the pleasure of using the online system last time, but it does open an hour earlier than the phone system. Silly computer should know that I'm staying onsite!!!! I visit the WDW website often enough! :rotfl2:

I like to wait and see when EMH are posted as to what we will book restaurant wise and what park we will eat and stay at for the day. I have calenders as far back as 2006 to compare notes on so I'll kind of know what dates have EMH. LOL!:rotfl:

It's 7:30am EDT "Have You Seen Your Disney Offer Today?"

I was hoping to wake up early and book my trip this morning .... :(

Got up at 4 am to call. Nothing. No offers :confused3 I also had the CM look for a PIN, again nothing. :confused3 What's a girl gotta do to go to WDW?:rolleyes1

Well the old deals are off the special offers page at disneyworld.com but no new offers!!! :faint::worried:

I was really expecting to see something this morning too. I am going to be ticked if Disney doesn't offer free dining.

Why??? they don't have to offer any discounts if that is what they decide to do. I remember before 9/11 where discounts were almost unheard of for Disney vacation.

I won't be ticked...just disappointed. But a 4/3 deal will work for me too!! Or anything better than the 30% off PIN I have now.

We're not entitled to discounts...they are just nice!!! ;)

Why will I be ticked? Because I am really counting on it and no free dining means no Disney trip for us this year. So, yes, I will be ticked... and majorly disappointed.

Im looking for October park hours. Nothing on the Disney website as of yet. I remember a couple of years ago people on Disboards waiting until May for October hours. I didnt care too much because I wasnt going until late Nov, but now Im planning an Oct trip and would like to see the hours so I can book dining mid April.

Where did you find the backdated calendars? Do you have a link? TIA

They are up. I think it was the Theme Park board I searched on and found. They have a pdf but I believe they said if you go to Disney's website and went to Sept. and then "next day", "next day" etc. they'll come up. Good luck! Lots of MNSSHP it appears...

I am very confident that they will offer something. Not sure it will be free dining though and not sure it will help us. Not every deal is a good deal for everyone.

I will be a little sad if free dining is not offered, but definitely not ticked. As others have said it isn't required for them to offer anything. I totally understand your being upset though. I have had to cancel trips before. It is not fun.
