Fall menu changes

I'm started to notice a few things changing on the posted menus and it has me a little worried about my trip in October. I booked all my ADRs based on the menus that were posted at the time of ADR booking. There were some tough choices between my husband and I, mainly because I'm a really picky eater. Does anyone know when Disney switches from their spring/summer menus to their fall/winter menus? I would hate to have to replan our dinner ADRs weeks before our trip.

Just be prepared for squash soup to be offered alot. I am not a fan of it.

Oh no! I hadn’t even considered that, and I am also going in October. I will watch this thread with interest.

Beware of all ears.net, Disney has made many changes recently and their menus are lagging behind, not accurate.
A) Googling [restaurant name] menu, the first result is generally the official Disney website.
B) Allears relies on site users to submit menus. While they visit WDW somewhat frequently, the site staff is not physically close to Make Buena Vista. If readers don't send menus, site owners can't legitimately update.
C) DIS owner is in Central Florida and can much more readily update menus. http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/disneydining.cfm

Also, menus can change at any time, not just seasonally. I would never book something based on one item on a menu because if the suppliers change or for any other reason it can be removed or altered.

On my mother/daughter trip, we found out the hard way that menu items can change day to day. We were both so excited for ostrich at the Cali Grill (checked the day before) and when we got there, it was gone and complete disappointment came over us. After that incident, we now choose restaurants based on the type and quality of food, not specific menu items.

Check the official disney world dining site often. Over the past few years, from August through to September, many WDW resorts have significant menu changes. Possibly this is related to the fall free dining offer and third party restaurants in particular drop some of the more $ entrees during these months. It may also just be a seasonal menu shake up. Check often to avoid being surprised. I agree with the PPs: the official WDW dining site is now the most up to date menu source.
