Fall Fantasy Plus or Early Booking?

We went on our first cruise in Dec 2001 (3-day), and had a wonderful "Fall Fantasy Plus" rate: category 5 for $559 adults, $199 children. I think we were spoiled for good by that rate.

We are considering going again this year (Dec 4 Wonder). Is there any meaningful chance that rates will be available for this time that beat the Early Booking rates?

The 2001 FFP rates were not because of 9/11; I booked that rate about a month before 9/11.

I believe that the Fall Fantasy rates are a thing of the past. They did not offer them for fall of 2002. What they did was to reprice their cruises so that the further out you book, the better the rate you'd get. Early on, the rates were similar to what you could get through Fall Fantasy the year before, but as the cruise fills up, the price will go up.

I'd suggest booking now. I don't know what the chances are that they will again offer these rates, but I don't think it's likely. Disney does not have the capacity problems that other lines do, as they only have two ships to fill. If they do offer a better deal in the interim, you can always switch your reservation to that rate.
