Fall/Fall Advantage 2010 Interview Thread!

My interview is Wednesday at 3:00pm. Can't wait. I am way excited.

:woohoo: I feel like I'm going to do this every day this week, hahaha. Good luck to everyone interviewing today!!!!

My interview is in less than two hours! As I predicted, I probably only got 1-2 hours of sleep last night. At one point when I was in that stage between being awake and asleep, I became convinced that someone was in my room, and I literally leapt out of bed, turned on all the lights in my place, and ran around with a pen (!) to poke the imagined intruder with. :rotfl: Ay yay yay, I'm just a tad bit anxious, to say the least

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

At least you had a weapon!

Had my interview this morning! I interviewed with Denise, and she was super nice. I'll be posting all the info to my blog later today, so check it out! Good luck to all those with interviews today :thumbsup2

Congrats on finishing your interview! You're interview sounded like mine, I didn't get a lot of questions about "favorite Disney -insert-name-here" either. :goodvibes Hopefully we don't have to wait too long!

(BTW: UPenn Quaker? *noticed the sweatshirt on your blog*)

Oh my goodness, that's hilarious!! :lmao:

ahhh I told myself I wouldn't agonize over my interview, but I can't stop thinking about it!! :headache:

I didn't get asked any role questions, nor did I get asked about favorite park or if I would prefer park to resort or etc., so I never got to really make a request for anything. Attractions if my #1 so I *did* manage to squeeze in a request for certain attractions at the end, but nothing for Merchandise.

If I do somehow manage to get an acceptance letter and I'm placed in Merchandise, could I call then and request a park/area? Or is it too late by that time?

Don't quote me on this, but from what I've read..I'm pretty sure ALOT of people put in requests after they've been accepted. Of course, there are no guarantees, but it never hurts to try.

I had my interview at 1:30 est with Annette. She was very nice. She didn't ask me a lot of questions I was expecting. She said I'd hear back in 3 to 4 weeks.

I had Annette as well for my 3 PM interview. She mostly did the same in not asking questions I was expecting. Once I told about my experience with Walmart, she asked questions about Merchandise and Main Entrance Operations (my 2nd and 3rd choice roles). I got the 3-4 week window as well.

Just read your blog about the interview! What was your situational question for BBB? That is my number 1 choice and I'm hoping with my experience they also give me a chance.

Yup yup, proud Quaker! I'm so happy when people realize that Penn is different from Penn State, lol.

She asked me what I would do if a child was hesitant/scared to get her makeover. I think as long as you quickly interject what your related experience is (before they have the chance to fully dismiss you if you haven't worked in a salon), you have a good chance of getting interviewed about BBB. I doubt that I will actually get the position, but I'm happy I was at least asked about it. Good luck!

officially starting to freak out. t-minus 20 hours till my interview! :)

You can put in a request after being accepted. Just be aware that there are no guarantees of getting it.

Mine is in 45 minutes. As a CP alum, I am still freaking out in nervousness!

Huge difference! Haha. My dad went to UPenn for his Ph.D, and when I was doing college apps, he was like "You put U Penn, right!?!? Not Penn State!?!?" And I was like "Yes dad... one is an Ivy League, the other is not.. I know..."
