Fall/Fall Advantage 2009 interviews

OK, now i'm a bit worried about the whole fax thing. When I asked at the end of my interview she said just to fax in the role checklist but should I have sent the actual application in? Did anyone else just fax the checklist or both? Wondering if i should call tomorrow morning and ask.

Good Luck to everyone who has an interview today...

(I know its late, I just got off work... closing isnt my favorite shift.. lol)

Oh to bennyb98, I was told to fax both my application and my checklist. I freaked out today in my interview because the lady thought I wanted to be a character instead of an attendant and was going into sending resumes and audtions stuff. BUt we got it sorted out.. lol

I scheduled my interview today :) I have Rhonda next wed. the 4th at 9:15 am. I'm glad to hear so many others had her and thought she was nice. Good Luck to everyone...I'm buggin over here hahaha!

Ohh yeah, she is really easy to converse with! I'm sure you'll do fine!:thumbsup2 What roles are you applying for?

Im not really worried about being accepted because of them. I was accepted before with them, and worked there. I just hope I get that specific role. Im pretty heavily tattooed, and they never had a problem with it, as long as my costume covered them.

this is comforting, thank you!

with me i was just upset that i didnt' get any qustions on the top roles i wanted because of the length of the sleeves when there are many attractions with longer sleeves like: Tower of Terror, haunted mansion, everest, soarin, tree of life, that she could have mentioned also but she only asked me questions on roles i wasn't excited about

Okay, I think I am confusing myself, but I want to make sure....

okay we fax the application and role check list...
and send in only the role check list? or is it the other way around?

There is like no instructions anywhere... the email i got last time was a big help....oh well...

I was finally able to schedule my interview today! I've got Feb. 3rd at 1:00 with Linda. I can't wait! It's finally starting to feel real...

Linda is who I had and she was really nice and easy to talk to. Based on what I have seen, most of the interviewers are like that. Good luck with your interview

When everyone finishes their interview, can they please say which roles they selected and how the interview went specifically? ie what questions were asked, ect...

I got questions for Attractions, Character Attendant, and Lifeguard.

I was asked questions, usually what if about if someone is to short to ride___________ what do you do?

Lifeguard I was asked a bunch of stuff about being able to handle myself is stressful situations and something about a purse beings stolen, what do you do?

Character Attendant a few about kids being scared of characters and rowdyness.

If you be yourself and think the questions through, it really isnt that bad

I just got a "Thank you for interviewing" email. It said it is not nesessary to snail mail your app. Just a clarification!

Wow,I havent gotten that email yet. Well thats good, im getting confused about what we need to do. I thought all we had to do was fax everything and thats it

Justine, when did you interview again? I forgot. I think it was Friday, but I am not certain.. so I should be receiving one either Friday or Monday, I hope. I haven't gotten one yet.

Good luck you two! :)

Sure! I picked character attendant, attractions, photopass, and FSFB. The questions I got were:
*Why would now be a good time to do the CP for you?
*What is a good work memory/experience you have had?
*I got asked which housing complexes I have stayed in, then was asked "what would you do if you had an issue with a roomie?"
*What would you look for in people, if you were selecting for the CP? (That was probably the hardest one for me)
*What would you do if someone was rough with one of the characters?
*What does Character Integrity mean to you?
*What would you tell guests when the character line is closed for the evening?
*Do you have any experience speaking in front of large groups, and how do you feel about it?
*The Space Mountain question!
*I got asked yes/no questions for Photopass (like any work experience, being able to carry the equipment, being able to work outside, ect). Then the question I got was "How would you sell something to someone buying photos?"
I didn't get any FSFB questions, which didn't surprise me.

I got the same email the day after I interviewed (I interviewed Tuesday and got the email yesterday). Who is your recruiter? Perhaps only certain recruiters have sent the email? I have Jessica.

I interviewed last Friday, and just got it today (Thursday). So don't sweat it yet. My recruiter is Christy.

Hello everyone!

I'm not applying for character attendant (I already had my interview) , but one of the questions perplexes me! The question is: What would you do if a child started kicking or punching your character?

I would have no idea how to answer this question! I'm curious as to how you all tackled that one.

Good luck you two! :)

Thanks so much Joanna! It seems you were asked a lot of Character Attendant questions! That sounds like a good sign to me... I don't want to jinx anything for you though... *knock wood*

Joanna, what I did this morning made me feel a lot better.. sort of. I'm a little worried that they lied to me just to get me off the phone, but that's just my mistrust of anyone who leaves me on hold for a long time.. haha.

I called the 1-800 number that I scheduled my interview through, went to the Orlando College Program part (1,1) and then pressed 1 for information on it. After you listen to the robotic voice talk for a while she says something like "if you have any more questions, please press ___ (some number, I think it was 0?) to talk to a Disney representative. So I talked to this lady, explained I was calling to see if they got my fax for the Orlando College Program, and she transferred me to this really nice guy who checked for me.... he said they had it. So yay!

Now I just have to hope that they have the role checklist and everything... and that he didn't just tell me they had the online app. I'm pessimistic that way.. I'm not going to be sure they got it until I get my letter in the mail.

The best thing to do is just call and ask... I have to call and see if they got my role checklist becuase the email said to send it ATTN:something, but my interviewer didn't tell me that. Better safe than sorry!
