HEY!!! i have applied for the costuming dept.

so i have a story...(as always)...so i just got off the phone with the Disney CP program, and i had wanted to make sure that they have received my documents. Me being the Geek that i am i had them overnighted straight to Disney. When i spoke to the guy he had said that they "Just got a bunch of mail" i had overnighted it and i had arrived the 30th of jan. (My interview was the 29th) and i JUST got off the phone with them.. so he had told me that he would call me back when and if he had received my package. So when "they officially receive" the package then it starts the two weeks...i am kinda scared/freekin out. i am so nervous. i think i am so nervous because i really really want this.

As always i am still praying!!

I just had my interview this morning! I think it went really nice, the interviewer was so nice! She was laughing with me (hopefully) so that has to be a good sign. I've decided I'm going to audtition to be a Character, and I'm doing that in Pittsburgh, PA. Anyone else?? How long until they post the schedule, anyone know?

i finally recieved an email saying "thanks for interviewing" 2 WEEKS LATER lol. They are obviously very behind in the CP department. It was nice hearing from them though and getting a recruiters info is also good so now I can bother her all the time

Good luck with the audition. The dates probably won't be posted til at least late Feb (even early March).

I don't know of an exact number. But everyone that I know who applied, was accepted.

haha we're all playing the waiting game. its not fuuunnnn. but on the brightside, I don't know anyone who's been rejected unless they were adamant that they wanted a higher wage, weekends off, or that they didn't want to take their tongue ring out or something. As long as they know they you really want to do the program and that you'll appreciate the experience you're getting, you'll get in. Thats what my friends who have done the program told me. Then again they could be lying to me to make me feel better. lol haha I hope they aren't

It seems like we're all pretty dedicated and passionate about Disney......I have faith that all of us will get in. No worries!!

So I've decided that I'm going to drive my car down. I've driven there before with family when I was younger so I know that it'll take about a day and a half to get there, but more like two days for me cause I'll want to check out on the way down there. you know like he attractions on the side of the road "WOLD'S BIGGEST ROCKING CHAIR" .....lol
haha yeah I'm a sucker for those things. lol
So if anyone needs rides to like wal-mart or the grocery store I'm their girl. LOL

haha i can relate to the waiting, today is 2 weeks from my interview and ive been checking the mail everyday, and driving my roommates nuts. I think there getting fed up with me and Disney lol. I just hope i get accepted.

Okay so I have another question, if I wait to audition and don't get offered a spot as a friend, will that hurt my chances of getting into to program? Will all the spots be filled and I get turned down?

Oh believe me, I know how bad it is. My family always drives down. Try driving to FL with 10 people in th car!

No. When I auditioned back in 2006, I didn't get performer. I got my 2nd choice, character attendant.

Hey!!! i was wondering...where are you driving from? i can not even begin to imagine driving that far...i live only about 49 minutes from Disney world. i live on the west coast of Florida...and guess what i can see the space shuttle lift off in my back yard. it lifts off the east coast but i can see it even though i am on the west coast. i find that amazing! so i have seen almost every lift off VIA my back yard. but the prospect that i will be even closer... it is shocking!!! But yea i am still waiting! i like the reassurance that you have given me...about the fact that everyone who is passionate about disney will have a GREAT shot...i have been so scared everyday mostly because i really really want this and i know that it will change my life...and i am passionate about it!!!! so i will keep on praying!! lol

Yeah i have been doing the same!!! lol...so i had called up disney and they had said that my paper work hasn't been recieved but that when it does arrive they will call. i was like what the heck? i had overnighted the package!!!! then again the i JUST got my "Thankyou for your interview" e-mail yesterday and i had interviewed Jan 29th. so i guess that i goes hand in hand that they are really slow! GOSH this wait is killing me!!! lol

I still haven't recieved my "Thanks for interviewing" email. I interviewed on the 24th. I faxed my application that day and had my hard copy mailed with receival notification which I got two days after mailing. Shouldn't be too long now I hope.

Honestly it was super odd that i had recieved it... and it has my - Disney College Program Support Recruiter person. she had sent it to me. i think that it was automated. but i still got it. idk it should come any day now (the e-mail.) but good luck!!! what did you apply for? i applied for the costuming dept.

hey everyone! Good luck to everyone and their waiting process! ahh nerves!

Im still battling with my school! It's huge and I have to wait until the 19th to get an appointment with my college counselor because its the beginning of the quarter! I don't want to apply right now because I feel I might get my answer before I get a red light/green light from my school. Any thoughts?
