Fall Direct Incentives

Everyone is so focused on Poly I haven't seen anyone start a thread for incentives for the other active resorts.
Do we think the incentives will remain the same?
Lower to focus on Poly?
 
My thoughts:

Poly - minimal (like when Cabins first went on sale)

Riviera - they will be worse (more expensive) than the last two cycles to make Poly look better in comparison

Cabins - maybe something more aggressive?

Aulani/VDH - not a clue. Staggering along as usual?
 

My guesses:
  • Poly
    • Higher-than-RIV base price, possibly same as VDH
    • Medium incentives for owners, similar to VDH pre-sales
      • My guess is this will be the lowest price Poly Tower will ever get for most point tiers
    • Smedium incentives for non-owners, similar to VDH initial sales
  • Riviera
    • Same base price as today
    • Slightly worse incentives for both owners and non-owners, maybe also some Welcome Home weakening
  • Fort Wilderness
    • Who the heck knows...it needs lower pricing but not sure Poly Tower Introduction is the right time to do it
  • Disneyland Hotel
    • Minimal changes from current, but if RIV gets some WH weakening so will VDH
  • Aulani
    • No idea

And base price increases across the board in early 2025 (Jan/Feb), including Poly.
 
What about 'sold' resorts like BRV and AKL? What do you think might happen to them next? Seems like they did well in August.

ohh I forgot about those. They didn't do nearly as well as the prior incentive for OKW, so I also wonder what they will do next.

See I think the OKW sold too well and the SSR one sold the way they wanted to OKW too.

If you sell out of something, you could have gotten away with charging more for it.
 
I would not be surprised to see a price increase 10/1. I think poly will be the same price as Riviera and Aulani but I would not be surprised if it’s $8 higher than it is now.

For 200 points, current owners (net of all promos except MB):
Poly - $21
Riviera - $25 ($7 worse than current)
CFW - $45 (~$5 better than current)
Aulani - $35 ($3 better than current)
VDH - $40 ($2 worse than current)

Is my best guess. Then I think we see a big Riviera sale in winter or spring.
 
Looking at the deals on BLT resale and the low MF - they would need an excellent direct rate on the sold-out properties to interest me. Even with RR as my primary ( making owning resale kinda limited.)
