Fall Comes to Florida!

At least for the next day or so. Currently it's 80 DRY degrees outside. It's heaven! Tomorrow morning's lows may be in the 60's, something we haven't seen since last April.

After a long hot summer, this is better than... fill in the blanks yourself.

We took our daughter to the park tonight and it was downright chilly (well, chilly for FL anyways). We'll have to put some fall clothes on her if we take her out tomorrow. I'm looking forward to the cooler weather finally

It's beautiful outside this morning.

Yes it is a beautiful morning. It's amazing what a couple of degrees (it's not really that "cool" in East Orlando - 73 degrees) and low humidity can do! It's refreshing. Last evening was beautiful. DD and i went for a short walk and she played outside with the dogs, very very pleasant!

I just went out to see if I could spot the Shuttle (Nope and no sonic booms this time ). The temp is or was 67! I had on a sweater while I was out there.

cool enough in Jacksonville that my wife wore a long sleeve outer shirt to work. Low 60's with a high later in mid 80's.... fall is coming....

It is 55 here in N. FL right now! Getting up to 86 though!

I'm wearing jeans for the first time in ages. I imagine I will change to shorts later though.

When I dropped the boys off at school, it was 62 degrees. Felt like what we experienced last week in California.

Now I'm hankering for some good apple cider, lol.

My sister called me from Florida last night (she lives just below The Villages) and she was chuckling - asking me if I had the "heat on" up here (Adirondack Mts.) - which I did.. In the course of the conversation I asked her what kind of clothes I should bring when I head down to her place for the winter - right after Christmas.. She said it would be "cold" then, so I should bring a mix of clothes.. I asked what she considered "cold" and she said "Sixty degrees or less some days..."

Guess she's been in Florida too long.. Up here that's practically beach weather.. "Cold" is zero...

Glad you're having some nice weather.. And NO hurricanes so far!! How neat is THAT???

It is nice that it has cooled down a bit, I just vaccuumed out the car and noticed it is starting to warm up though at 9:30 it is currently 86º.and

Not Florida but GEORGIA was 54 degrees when I woke up and 60 degrees right now which is HEAVENLY in my world!!! It's dry and, my favorite word, CRISP!

About 45 here in Detroit this morning.. it is now about 48. It will only go up into the mid 60s. I'm ready for Fall season!

Does FL ever go down as low as 30s?

Guess it didn't make it this far south It doesn't seem as humid at least.

We have lots of days in the 30's here in North FL, heck we even get days in the teens. Nice thing is it will warm up on many of those days. I think Jan is mostly 30's here. Central and South FL are much different.

Another strange thing is our 30's are colder than the 30's I experienced when living up north. Just a wetter cold I guess.
