Fall 2016 planning (continuation of 2016 Free Dining Watch)

I can't wait for the F&W menus to be released so I can start planning which booths to visit!!! Did you ever find out about your party tickets?
Oh sorry, we did. My brother had to go back and go through all his emails. We still don't have antying for our two tours but at least we have those set up. Thank you for asking.

Lol, that's awesome!!! Believe it or not, he actually did a good job in my dream. And I'm not a fan, lol.

Lol, it was funny, because he was being VERY serious, doing a great job, but with his hair moving every which way it became a comedy show.

Oh, edited to wish y'all a happy Sunday!!! I bought an instant pot, that will be here Friday. I'm so excited!!!! I actually WANT to cook lol. I know I'm going to want to bring it to Disneyland if we drive, as we will have a kitchen and it's so fast to cook in. And I'm the one that ALWAYS says I'm not cooking on vacation lol.
What is an instant pot?

Happy Monday!!! Hooray for the food and wine menus being out. I'm so excited for everyone who's trips are coming up soon!!!!

What is an instant pot?

I never had heard of them until I read a thread on the budget board. (I spend money by reading there, lol).

An Instant Pot is one brand of electric cookers that do 6 or 7 functions. You can Brown, salute, pressure cook, steam vegetables, cook rice and even make yogurt i in some of them. They also work as a slow cooker. we have a small kitchen, so this is ideal. And I'm actually excited to cook in it.

This is the one I got. I'm excited to use the pressure cooking aspect and have about 60 recipes I want to try, lol.

Have a great day everyone!

Wow. if the clean up is easy I'm going to look into this. I'm a lazy cooker and right now I live with my parents so my mom does most of the cooking. But when I move out again. Not sure when, I like things that are easy. I guess that's why I love salad. LOL.

I wouldn't mind having to cook on vacation as long as someone else volunteers to wash the dishes! I don't see that happening, so I guess we'll just stick to dining out. :D

I'm not looking forward to the crowds. I was planning on using a few snack credits there, but last years menu didn't entice me any so I'll just be trying to avoid the crowds. We will be there for the first weekend. OH my brother should have been up booked our fast passes this morning. 60 days to go.
Yay for 60 days!! :cheer2: Hope you got all your FP. I just looked at this years menu and I'm going to need a couple of days at Epcot for sure!

So for right now, here's the F&W booths we plan to visit....
Canada, Africa, Belgium, The Chew, Australia, China, Chocolate Studio,
Farm Fresh, Germany, Hawaii, Island of Caribbean, Italy, South Korea,
and Refreshment Port( I wish I had a croissant doughnut right now).

The kids really enjoy collecting stamps for their F&W passports, so we'll see how many we can get this year.

I had to look up what an instant pot was and it looks helpful, let us know how it works! I am a big fan of the slow cooker so this looks like something I might like!:)

I just bought a stovetop pressure cooker because I found one for a steal. But man I wish I had gotten that instant pot instead!

We were SO psyched for F&W last fall and saved our snack credits for Epcot. Then our Epcot day it POURED all morning and we were stuck in the seas most of the morning and by the time it was nice enough to get out to the WS we only had an hot until our ADR at Biergarten. I was so bummed!

It's supposed to be one of the easiest to clean and the inner pot is stainless steak. That's much better than non stick that peels or aluminum. I'm psyched!!!

One pot, paper plates!!! Easy peasey!!!! Lol

They are on Prime today. The $119 IP is only $69.99. I ordered one and am going to return the other one I bought to Wal-Mart. It's the 7 in one that also makes yogurt. The other one I bought was a 6 in one, so this is even better and cheaper!!!

Congratulations to everyone who got their Fast Passes!! Woo hoo!! Your trips are almost here!!!

That is horrible!!! It reminds me of when we added a day to our trip and tickets (we drove), and my grandmunchkin got sick, so we just came home.

On our 2013 trip my parents went with us and they loved Soarin so much that we waited standby twice and spent way more time in Future World than we usually do. We had dinner reservations that night outside of the park and I think my mom was actually mad at me because we didn't get to go to the festival!?! Lesson learned. Don't make dining reservations if going to Epcot during F&W festival. At least not if Mom and Dad are going.

I hope you get to go back to the festival!!
