Fall 2016 planning (continuation of 2016 Free Dining Watch)

It worked out in the end. I realized I had enough points to book the flight to MCO on Delta and the flight back on SW, so I ended up using more points then I would have liked but my OOP is only $11.20 to pay for the government fees. I'll take it

Now I just need good vibes that my time off from work gets approved and I didn't just waste all of this time and points! I won't know for sure that I can go until August

We won't know for sure about my vacation time till around then too. It suuuuucks!

So I've been busy and the FD buzz has died down a little so I've been MIA but I think I'm caught up. I'm gonna go look for a ppo akershus now! Poop it's probably too late lol.
Also catching up made me VERY grateful that we are driving! Sheesh!

Ok, akershus is booked solid for our epcot day. Fp the ride and rope drop the m&g? Or is it really worth stalking for a ppo breakfast? I didn't really want too many super early mornings and already have a ppo for BOG.

So, I'm almost done with outfits for everyone. Next comes making ears. Not sure I'm crafty enough but I'm gonna try!

Any tips on planning fast passes? I guess that's the next big thing!

I got Disney mail!!!! Well sort of, it's from the Disney store. I get so excited when I open the box and see Mickey and Tink printed on the inside. It's sad I know, but it doesn't take much to make me smile.

I think it's replacing ROL for now - ROL was having some technical difficulties. Not sure what the status of ROL is at this point.

No, Anna & Elsa are leaving MK. Hopefully the M&G at Epcot won't be too long of a line. I have a feeling people have to choose between FP+ for the ride and the M&G.

I have really enjoyed taking part in free dining threads this year. I have followed for a handful of years and so glad I decided to join this year. Wonder if Roger/Ronald booked another trip? Thanks to those who have kept it going. I truly hope everyone has a magical and wonderful vacation. Good luck to those who still have ADR's to make. I know we are all anxiously waiting to book FP's next.

You think they would leave it at MK too in order help relieve some of the incredibly long wait times they have.

I think the whole point of having Frozen stuff at Norway is to get more people to go to Epcot. Having the sisters meet in both parks would defeat that purpose.

I read somewhere that they will have 3 separate meeting rooms for A&E in Norway to help keep the line moving more quickly.

But it's Disney, so 2 of those rooms will probably be empty 99% of the time...

Yep, and someone else brought up the possibility of the sisters meeting together rather than separate like they do at Fairytale Hall. If that happens, it'll slow down the line again - but it would be fun to get pictures with them together!

I'm wondering if I will be able to book a jungle book package at th tomorrow for September. Since the late nights don't go past July on the calendar. Hoping ROL is open by then!

Probably to hold overflow to keep people out of the heat. Unlike Olaf, no personal snow flurry outside to keep kids cool while they wait.

I'm glad my trip isnt for 6 months so they can work out AK nighttime stuff, Star wars fireworks stuff, etc. By the time my 60 day FP window opens I should have a solid plan to go off of.

HOWEVER if they pull the Baymax meet and greet heads will roll. We missed him by a few weeks last trip and my kids were devastated. Same with Jedi training.

Not sure if they are still doing it or if you purchased MM, but last year we had our photo taken in front of Animation Courtyard and Baymax was the magic shot for the photo.
