This morning I was able to find a Standard room at CBR for both myself and the family traveling with us. That saves us both an additional $211!

Credit goes to @sahm2two because if I weren't looking for her room I wouldn't have even thought to check my dates!

Yep! My ADR date was April 3, so I've had mine for a while! I couldn't wait till FD dropped to try to get my things cause I wanted a lot of highly sought after things... so yes, I'm one of those who hogs the reservations, but I blame Disney!

I'm on a hoppin' FB group that I'm probably not allowed to mention here. It's HUGE and for.... junkies.... anyway, the head guy there is always eating at the Whispering Canyon Cafe and I might switch one of my ADRs for that... because it really looks delicious and I think they would embarrass the crap out of my kids

It looks like we have the same taste... we also booked 1900 Park Fare, Ohana, Boma, BOG lunch and BOG dinner.... oh and we also booked Whispering Canyon Cafe !

Totally off topic but has anyone golfed while there. My DH and DD are taking their clubs and I was wondering how easy the taxi service from the golf courses work.

My husband is finally taking his golf clubs this fall! He is so excited! We have planned a non park / pool day mid week and he is spending the day on the golf course. I'm super happy for him!

OMG!!!!! I GOT FREE DINING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really don't think there are enough exclamation points in the world to express how freaking excited I am. I am shaking. We're going to Disney World!!!! And eating all the things!!!! It took a while to go through all the steps and I was SO worried it would disappear before I could get it reserved. But I got through to the confirmation page and now I can breathe again!

For those who are going the first week of October... KEEP LOOKING!!!! I was casually looking, like I've been doing all week, just on my phone while I was straightening my hair, and now I very well be late for work/dropping my girls off for school cause I'm on here instead of getting the rest of my clothes on (I'm not naked or afraid, don't worry) and fixing my coffee.

I reserved CBR for Oct. 1-Oct. 9, so the first night we will need a hotel, but we might actually not even stay in Orlando, bc we are leaving after I get off work and would be getting in LATE on the 30th, so that was the best possible way to shorten our trip.

I. AM. SO. EXCITED.

This whole post made me happy. Disney Magic at its best!!

I'm still obsessively refreshing Disney site hoping to find CSR or CBR for our stay 11/15-11/19.

So I have never posted on here, but have followed all 3 pages - glad to find everyone again. Right now we are booked on FD at CBR Pirate room the week before Thanksgiving. But I had found a deal and lost it at CBR standard room the week after Thanksgiving. Is the week after Thanksgiving better to go because of lower crowds than the week before Thanksgiving?

If you mean the week before Thanksgiving as Nov 12-19, that week is one of the best weeks of the year for lower crowds. The week leading into thanksgiving, Nov 19-26, will be more crowded. I think the week after the holiday after the weekend is over should be a good week too. But I would think of the 2, there's not a clear winner on the better week.

Woo hoo!!!! Apparently CBR opened a bunch of rooms this morning!

Unfortunately, not for my preferred original dates. I think the problem is the night of 12/5: that's Pop Warner time, and right now the site shows there are no standard rooms available that night at all. So I'm not very hopeful I'll be able to adjust. I was really hoping to avoid the Sunday after Thanksgiving, but since I don't want to shorten my trip, I'll likely just have to deal with it.

YAY!!! hoping to be able to get a lot done in the parks before the FD folks start arriving on the 15th.

EasyWDW tentative crowd calendar has our park days as:

They're releasing their inventory over a period of time instead of all at once. This lets them watch things more closely and make adjustments as needed. Also, many people just give up the first day and book something without ever checking again=more money for Disney.

You give me hope!!! It sounds like there's still a chance they could release a little more inventory. All I want is one more day to add on to my CR trip! Off to tell my husband that me checking five times an hour since Monday is totally justified...

I'm soooo excited! I just got my confirmation number for my magical deal for October, entered it in MDE and cancelled my other, full price reservation, saved over $500! Same resort, same dates!!!! My ADR'S are made and I'm just waiting for MNSSHP tickets to go on sale! Thank to everyone for their advice and encouragement!

Who has made their ADR's for their fall trip already? What did you get? And what are your favorite meals at "the World?"

So far we have BOG, Cape May, Boat House and Le cellier

These are almost our dates too, 9/29-10/8 at POR! See ya there, hopefully!!!

Also, I might've had an almost full on panic attack when I saw the other treads were closed! I thought I had somehow bitten banned because it said I did not have the privileges to reply or something. SO glad we are back up and running!!!!!
