Fall 2016 Opens this week PLUS NEW ITINERARY INFO

Is it right that the phone lines and online open at 8am eastern time?

And around 8 am online the next day for Silver, right?

For the general public and silver CC: Wednesday - I believe the phone officially open at 8:00am; online has often been available earlier (maybe as early as 6:30ish).

For gold/platinum CC: Tuesday - only available by phone.

I'm so excited! I just turned gold in March and I actually have a cruise to book. I hope I'm not on hold all day.

Regarding the cruise out of NYC how long is the stop in Pt. Canaveral ? Would have any time in Magic Kingdom ?

I believe the NYC Bahamian cruises include a one-day park-hopper to WDW -- it's a full day (long late day) port stop at Port Canaveral. At least that's how it was done in 2012.

Enjoy your cruise!

Yes! The cruise includes a 1-day Park-hopper ticket. The ship docks early in the morning and sails fairly late that night. The cruise line also supplies the busses to get back and forth. It makes for a great WDW fix in the middle of the cruise! :)

Boo! So can't use our obb for the cruise we actually want.

So I can book when silver books? And do you know how quickly things book up? Sorry for the rapid fire questions---I am just so excited they are sailing out of NYC....We are a family of 5--are there rooms that hold 5 (the kids will be 4, 8, and 14 then)....I have always planned WDW trips but don't even know where to start on the cruise line planning! I'm feeling overwhelmed but excited.

I wouldn't worry cruises rarely sell out until a couple of weeks before the cruise if they sell out at all. They may go up up up in price, and never come down. They may go up in price and then go down in price or they may never go up in price and then go down. Who knows? There is always a lot of buzz on opening day. Lately there's been a lot of anger and disappointment over prices. Unless DCL prices these within reason for off season cruises( not DCL's MO these days) I don't think you have to worry about a lot of people booking. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

I haven't seen any posts for the first day prices. I know phones aren't even open yet but I hope one is started!

"High call volumes, blah, blah, blah......"

LOL -I also called at 8:00:30, and have been hearing "greater than 15" ever since. Now, the last one said "momentarily".
