Fall 2012 AP Rates- is anyone else waiting?

Subscribing to see if the AP rates are any better than our bounce back offer or available at other resorts - hoping for Thursday

Interesting that the AP renewal post card I received not "resort discounts" specifically - if it's going to be part of the renewal then the discounts need to be offered and before the general public codes!

Online they are showing Florida Resident discounts for 8/15-9/30. But when I called to modifiy our Labor Day resi, I was told they aren't available yet! Stinks! But they lady did say that it means it will be very soon!

I currently have reservations at POFQ for Sept 1st-8th and Oct 27th-Nov 3rd for 30% off, under the Bounceback deal I booked when I was there last Nov/Dec. I'm hoping for an AP discount that beats it, but am not holding my breath for it. Up until the last year, iI was used to getting 35% off at all the moderates. I think those days may be gone though. I still remember back in 2005 when I got both WL and AKL for 49% off with the AP discounts ($149.00 per night for a courtyard view at WL and $149.00 per night for a Savanna view at AKL). I also remember getting the moderates for $79.00/night. Back then AP discounts also came out about a week before the GP discounts. Sure miss those days!

Just checked the AP website and still no Fall passholder rates.

WAiting too! When you say "fall" dates to you mean just through 10/3? I checked the Mousesavers chart of historical release dates & it looks like anything released this week will only be thru 10/3....or maybe I'm looking at it wrong? I'm waiting for mid or late October, and I thought I saw those won't be come out til July/August. Sigh....more waiting....

They finally took down the Stars Wars picture on the AP page - but no new reservation information - I am waiting for December rates - so I will probably have to wait even longer if was is being said comes true. But with the current discount covering only 2.5 months - I guess that a new one would probably cover the same ground (Middle of August to Oct).

I thought for sure today would be the day! All historical data pointed to today, but now I'm beginning to worry they forgot about AP discounts! I'd go with a general public discount but I want the dining plan! So now I have to either forget the DDP, or go with a much less expensive resort then I wanted to stay at just so I can turn it into a package.

If they truly forgot, I'm really disappointed

I thought it would be today too, but apparently not unless they are very very late today. Who knows, maybe tomorrow though I don't think they release on Fridays normally.
I have a reservations so it isn't do or die for me but I'd still like to see what is offerend incase I want to change something a bit.

I'm also surprised nothing came out today, especially since those wanting to go in the second half of August are nearing their 45 day mark.

So far the AP discounts this year have been, quite frankly, rather pathetic (the GP discounts have often been at least as good, if not better, with fewer blackout dates). To add insult to injury, they raised the AP price by a greater percentage than normal this year.

well...we have the GP discount and are happy with the package but were hoping for AP discounts but if they don't come out we will not be buying AP's on this trip...and guaranteeing a return trip within a year

We'll be upgrading when we arrive this October, so I can't really check the AP site for historical data. If it helps, our dates are 10/13-10/22 (which has been blacked out on free dining at least....)
