Fake Snow For Wooden Snowman?

Hi All,

I'm quite a creative person, and this is my first time dipping my toe into the Creative DIS board pool. I'm so excited that there is a place where I can get some creative suggestions!

I've been painting a wooden snowman for the past couple weeks. He's very vintange looking, and attached to a small, flat plank of wood at the bottom. I thought this platform would be perfect to add glittering snow to, but I have no idea what to use. I've considered using cotton balls, to give it depth, but I don't know if that would look silly or not. Plus, I'd like to somehow give the snow some hints of glitter.

Any ideas? I'd appreciate any input! I can post a photo later, I'm currently posting from work.

They have stuff that comes in a tub that you put on with a spatula, It's called Snow-tex. It looks like frosting, and is used for "snow". Some has glitter, some doesn't. You can always add "glitter" by fluffing glamour dust on it too. Mike's sells it.
