Hey there.

Just a little warning to you all. I bought a Sandisk 2G card on ebay about 2 weeks ago. worked fine in my camera, but it only gave me 558 pictures (7mp) while my other sandisk 2G would give me 590. Also when I tried to use it on a portable reader, it kept telling me that the card was not formated (worked ok on another reader). So I check it on a co-worker's palm to get the info and guess what..... It's fake, no a Sandisk but a clone (a very good one). So, even thought it works, I'll never know for how long (hope it doesn't crash after my 557 pic at Disney) . Just be warned.

I ran into this about a year ago. I checked the serial number of the card with Sandisk and it did not show up. So I contacted the seller and demanded my money back. Had to get Ebay involved but he did return my money and took the card back. Since then I don't buy memory on there. I would rather pay a little more and be sure of what I am getting.

My other concern was even though it did work, how long and how trustworthy was it. If you are already getting less photos than the real card, I wouldn't chance my photos on that card, but that is just me. Sure you can lose photos on any card but if it were this one, I would be mad at myself because I knew there were already issues with it.
