Hi! This is my first post on the craft board. I want to make those decorative cookies that you make out of cinnamon, applesauce, and glue. I was wondering if anyone had done this and then decorated them like Martha Stewart, with the flow icing method, only using fake icing, not powdered sugar and egg white, something that would last. Any ideas? Maybe some kind of specialty paint? I'm not current with all the new craft products out there,so any advice would be appreciated. :flower:

I'd probably use a "puff" paint. The only ones I've bought have specifically been for fabric, but I think there's a regular type as well.

I think puff paints would work. Over the years as a den leader and room mother, the kids used the puff paints on clay pots, unfinsihed wood, painted wood, poster board, constructionpaper, plastic, etc and it worked fine. I just pulled out what I had on hand. :flower:

Thanks piratesmate and ksjayhawks, that' what I was thinking also, thought there might be something new on the market though.
