Okay, I have looked at the possibiltiy of using spray/airbrush tans but to be honest self tanners are easier for me to maintain. So for all the people that have used Fake Bake before, can you please tell me which produsts I would be best to purchase? I have looked at the site and their are so many products (mousse, lotion, gel etc) I haven't a clue where to start. I want to purchase it now so I can find the level of color I'm happy with.
I have used plenty of tanning lotions before so I know about prepping, but I would love to know what the best product is.

Thanks

The Lancome ones are great! They are a little pricey, but they don't streak or stain your clothes. They are definately my faves!

I really think the lotions that have a little bit of self tanner in them (like Jergens Daily Glow, Dove summer glow, etc) are the best to use. They build up gradually over time and look more natural and you can prevent streaks a lot better. The mouse, spray and other products are trickier sometimes. One of my favorite that I found is Bare Bronze by victorias secret. It has a nice coconut smell too it versus an odd chemical smell like a lot of others. I definately recomend exfoliating before using the lotion and make sure to get a seperate lotion for your body and then one specifically for your face. The VS bare bronze face is nice because not only does it have the self tanner in it. It also has a tint and shimmer so you get an effect right when you put it on plus the effect of the self tanner later.

Funnily enough Summer I have just applied my Fake Bake for the first time lol. I bought the airbrush spray one and it was so easy to apply for your own and gives a lovely golden colour. I got mine from QVC which I think it cheaper than elsewhere.

Hi Summer
This has been a major worry of mine!
I am a Beauty Thaerapist and have used a lot of different tanning products.
We use a spray tan at the moment called sun junkie, which is great but i know wont b available in the states, so my latest discovery is st tropez everyday. I 've used st tropez many times and know how messy (but good) it is, but this new one is totally different.
Basically its a moisturiser (afirming one at that!) with a small amount of tan in.
You build it up till the colour u want, so mayb do it in the morning after ur shower? the colour is lovely, a real sunkist look without looking like a "fake" tan. I think its around £12 so quite cheap. mayb try one now and see what u think:thumbsup2

Summer I love Jergens Natural Glow. The newest one which is the firming one works best!

I saw a difference the next day..I am so white lol so it shows up right away on me.

Ok....Im VERY fair skinned, so I tan, but skin cancer has freaked me out so I do the hint of color lotions just to add a little "skin enhancement"
Right now Im using banana boat & i like it...even after using it every morning for the past month...i dont look orange

My biggest advice for ANY girl who wants to fake bake.....dont overdo it

alot of models in these adds arent fresh off the beach..they look natural & thats what I think looks best

Good luck & avoid any tan lines;)

I just fake baked. My doctor even said it was okay. She said she would rather that than have me sit in the real sun for hours on end. Since I didn't fake bake before or after, I felt it was safe.
