Dh and I are planning on dining at Victoria and Alberts during our next WDW vacation. I had originally planned to have our 3 kids, (ages 7, 6, and 3) go the the Kid Club a the resort. I thought my 3 year old would be able to go, but have since read they have to be 4 years old. I am much more comfortable with a group setting that the Kids club would provide and am a bit concerned about a total stranger coming to my Hotel room and spending the evening with my kids. Has anyone used the Fairy Godmothers? If so how was your experience. Any imput would be greatly appreciated!

We used Fairy Godmothers for our daughter for the same reason ... V&A's when she was 4 months old in December 1999. The sitter, Laura, was a grandmother and very nice. She was actually the first sitter I left my DD with who was not a family member or friend. Laura did a great job. Although I was somewhat hesitant to leave my DD, Laura put me at ease. Everything was fine and dandy when we returned.

We will be returning to WDW in November (DH has a class at the WDW Hilton) and then again over New Years Eve. When I called FG to make reservations for our Winemaker's Dinner in Nov and V&A on Jan 1 the woman who answered the phone (the owner) remembered my name and asked me if I remembered the sitter I had. I dug up Laura's business card and the owner said that Laura had just returned to sitting after taking the summer off. So ... 2 years later we'll have the same sitter for my DD that we had the first time. Any company that can keep staff for that long has a lot going for it IMO.

We have used FG's 3 times. Once when we only had one baby and twice during another trip when we had 2 babies. The women we have been in contact with have all bee professional. We had the same woman the trip we used them twince. She made my boys feel very comfortable. This was the first time I ever left my boys with a sitter that was not family. I was very calm. It was great not having to worry. Good luck.:D
