Hey.......let us (ok, me) know if you can request a certain villa at GKTW. Matty wanted to stay in the castle one as well (the cottage was his second choice). He actually had a picture of it in his Wish Book that he showed the volunteers on that first meeting.

Plans are moving along swiftly for Bella's bedroom makeover! My brother and his fiancee were down this past weekend for Thanksgiving and we went over plans, location of items, and other ideas. I still have a few things to purchase and finish up, but I think we may actually pull this off!
Here is the previously posted list, with a LOT more green (done) items than before! I have also added a few new items that have occurred to me over the past few weeks.

Must Do
Princess Canopy Bed (donated by a friend, spray painted pink)
Mattress and Box Spring (purchased awaiting pick up by my dad on Saturday)
Bedding, including canopy (purchased by an incredibly generous DISer aaronandterri, more on this below)
Floor covering (small rug purchased Black Friday, will purchase larger one later)
Paint (purchased on Black Friday, new color is Wild Lilac by Pittsburgh Paints)
Curtains (purchased princess curtain rods on craigslist.)
Castle Mural (friend Wendy will paint it starting Monday 12/7)

Want to Do
Dresser (still considering this. DH found one at work. It is white with crystal drawer pulls. but it may be too big for Bella's small room)
Princess Christmas Tree (purchased black friday)
Vanity - not going to do this
Ceiling fan (to replace primary colored one currently in her room)

Dye Canopy (there is a white canopy that came with the bed. I would like to dye it pink but have never dyed anything before and don't want to ruin it!)

A few days ago I recieved an email from a DISer asking how the plans for Bella's makeover was going. She asked whether we had selected bedding and directed me to the disneyshopping website that had a gorgeous bedding set that I was eyeing, but wasn't within my budget. I was waiting (and hoping) for a price drop and a discount code, but even with those it would be stretching it. As an alternative, I was scouring craigslist and walmart for back ups.

The DISer, Terri, aka DISid aaronandterri, asked if she could purchase the bedding set for Bella! I was shocked and touched. So THANK YOU Terri for your generous gift for Bella's bedroom makeover. It is the perfect set for our little princess and I know she is going to love it!

I would love to meet up and thank Terri in person but we are literally going to miss eachother by just hours! She and her family are coming over from England for a holiday within hours of our departure! Thanks again Terri - you are an angel!

Here is the bedding set that will be awaiting Princess Bella upon her return from her Wish trip! And based on the bedding, the color in the picture is simliar to the color we chose for the walls.

I also picked up these two pieces of furniture from someone selling them on craigslist. She was selling them with a toddler bed but I asked her if she would sell them separately and she agreed! I paid $100 for both pieces. This is a toybox/bench

and I finally found a reasonably priced bookshelf that I LOVE!

Things are definitely coming together and I just hope I can get things arranged before we leave to make it easy for my brother and everyone else to access all of the supplies and items needed. I hope to complete my purchases tomorrow!

Shower. . . . check! It was a great way to start the day The journal designs are actually downloaded from this website, as are many of the disney journal pages and other activities. The Mouse For Less You should check it out - they have lots of stuff!

I believe the photo was taken before landscaping. It was on GKTW facebook's photo album about their expansion, which was completed several months ago.

Were you checking up on me today? I hope I completed enough to please all of you here! I plan to do the same tomorrow. A list helps me tremendously, especially if I know someone else may be checking up on me!

My baby is Lydia, Tessa is my niece. But Tessa is a very good artist too.

I love that part with Drizella screaming and Annastasia running too! The Arminda and Lydia love the part where Drizella says, "Why would you want to be her? She's no fun at all.." They repeat that line A LOT!

Bella has gotten so many great gifts. The Drizella, Anastasia, and Cinderella dresses are awesome!! I checked out the video you posted and it was great. I hope your girls get the same type of reaction.

TIIIIIIIIIMMMMMM! Welcome back! I am hoping for long days, not short ones! The camera I am borrowing should be to DH's store tomorrow. It had to be transferred from another location. I hope we get a fraction of that reaction and my girls will be thrilled! And yes, Maroo did an awesome job on the t-shirts!

You know it looks like you've done pretty well today! I can't wait to see the Bedroom update, and what GKTW says when you request a castle ville, I was hoping to do the same thing for Piper once we have dates. To me, the clothes and such are the easy part (there are only the two of us), but I would be stressing over the list of things to purchase. Anyway..just keep making forward progress hon, and try not to wear yourself out tooooo much.

I stress over clothes unfortunately. I should take a picture of my suitcase. Each day has it's own bag (think grocery store plastic bag). The bag is labeled with the day and park of the day. Inside each bag is the entire outfit for each girl including socks, undies, etc. In fact, next time I have the camera out I will take pictures!

I won't wear myself out too much. I am going to bed early tonight. 1 am at the latest!

you'll have to post pictures of the grinch outfits! He's my favorite! are you going to grinchmas at universal studios? I'm so excited for it.
I just started packing tonight, and our water pump went so i can't do laundry, so it put us back a bit haha. That villa is super cute, i hope you get to stay there!!

Sadly, we will miss Grnichmas I think. Most of the US/IOA Christmas stuff takes place on the weekends. They don't start weekday stuff until after we leave!

And guess what?! I actually made 3 skirts today! They aren't exactly Grinchy (stinkin' JoAnn's has NO grinch fabric!) but they are Grinchy colors! Now, please take into consideration that my knowledge of sewing is about a gazillionth of that of any Big Giver out there. So my skirts, simple as they are, aren't very well made. But they do match some leggings and a shirt I bought and will have to do for one of our days at US/IOA.

PHew! Safe for now! No ressie for CRT, but the CM's name was Cindy, yep, that's right CINDY (as in Cindy-erella)! And she was super sweet and gave me the phone number of a guy who is a "community relations coordinator." Cindy said that she couldn't pull any strings, but maybe he could! I left a message for him late this afternoon. Hopefully he calls me back tomorrow.

oI felt quite motivated by yesterday's list and my subsequent accountability to my DIS friends (and myself) after posting said list so I am trying it again! There are still many things left to do before we leave on Thursday morning! Today I'm making unfinished ones RED so they glare at me each time I look at the computer screen. So here I go:

Starting off with the things that DIDN'T get finished from yesterday's list:

Make 3 Lime Green Mickey Heads for stroller and backpacks
Post another day of Plans
Finish writing itineraries and print (I have ink!)
Purchase earrings for Christmas dresses

And moving on to the remaining items that need to be done for our trip today:
Post yesterday's Big Give package (Thanks CRYSTAL!)
Post about the outfits I made (yes, I did say MADE) for the girls
Call about CRT reservation . . . . again! Still NOTHING available
Pack clothing completely for DH and myself
Put a hold on the mail. Thanks for the tip about doing it online Teresa! You saved me a trip downtown and a lot of time
Stop newspaper delivery
Make a list for the carry on activity bag
Pack medications and feeding supplies for Bella
Pack breakfast for Bella on Thursday morning
Shop for remaining items needed - then pack them - How do socks add up to $80?!?
Call GKTW about the castle villa - we can't request anything until the day we arrive. Oh well!
Find a folder for the itinerary

And of course, some things I need to do at home as well:
Go to school and take Bella's blood sugar (3Xs) - only had to do this twice because the nurse gave the OK for Bella to do it herself!
Meet AJ's scout leader
Wash all bedding
1 load of laundry
shower
eat lunch (I only put this here because I forgot yesterday) . . . mmmmm. Subway!

Ok, that's probably not it so my list may actually grow during the day. However, I need to head over to school now for he first of the 3 blood glucose checks so I gotta run. Again, please watch for progress throughout the day, and THANK YOU for your motivation yesterday - it truly was helpful!

What a list you have today! At least some of things look pretty quick. Also..dyeing is really easy..pick up a box of rit at the grocery and follow the instructions, it's seriously very hard to screw it up. (Better yet, buy it and give it to a friend to do while you're gone, lol.) I'll check in as I can, I'm with you on the motivation, it helps to know people are watching!

It arrived today! I am so excited and it is even more beautiful in real life! I want to take it out and put it on her bed right now but . . . . . that would ruin the surprise!

It was a great find. I searched every craigslist within 150 miles or so of here. The seller lives about 5 minutes from my brother's place of work - but about an hour and a half from me. Lucky find, I guess!
