I will reply to this. I did this on another site. One time I sent 10 cards. One person did send a thank you. I then got told off because only two of another ladie's three kids postcards arrived. She was mad that I hurt her third child's feeling. Well I did send all 3 on the same day and I cannot help it if the PO did not keep all three together (it did arrive two days later). She never thanked me for the two that did arrive. Talk about self-centered women!!! I like to "know" that they arrived, so I can try to get another one sent if they did not.TinkNH said:I am sending the postcards to bring a smile to the face of a child...but I really don't expect a thank you. I guess in some way I kinda thought it was the way everyone thought about it, that the thank you was to pay it fwd..and do the same for another child. When I saw the OP upset that no one thanked her, I realised my assumption was wrong, and hence my quick post that if it was me I was truly sorry and indeed thankful.
Please dont judge people as rude unless you know the whole story![]()
BTW many who send the cards have no kids, so the only thing that we get back is the story of how they made the kids day.
