It's when someone sends your child or spouse a postcard from Disneyland or WDW.
I am going to DL April 26-30. I'm willing to send 3 postcards. Let me know if you're interested.

Could someone please explain this better? Im a little lost, but it sounds really cute! Is it a postcard FROM Disneyland? Or from the fairy godmailer?

I assume it is a Disney postcard...? Does it have to be sent from Disneyland? Can you even still do that and get the Disneyland postmark?

While on thier trip, your Fairy Godmailer will get a postcard and mail it to your family. Could be individual to each member or to all. Whatever you arrange with them. They mail it from the park. Some will even try to get a favorite character's autograph on it too.

Then when you are on your trip, you can return the favor by getting a postcard for someone else.

oh i think we did this on the cruise board. they called it "pay it forward" post card thing. really cute! our 2 DSs got a post card each from mickey mouse himself (some nice gentleman), and he wrote something like "heard you'll be coming onto my ship, am looking forward to meeting you" type note on the postcards. our boys were SO excited that mickey knew they were going on the cruise! it was so neat to see their faces, when the postcards arrived in our mailbox! they couldn't believe it! and then, you send postcards back to others who request for them.

i have a trip planned in april (early april), if anyone is interested. let me know! am always willing to spread some "pixie dust" along the way!

I am new to this board and to any kind of forum, but am very interested in the fairy godmailer. We will be in Disneyland March 24 - 30. I would need two mailers, one for my 6 year old nephew and one for my 11 year old son. Also I am willing to be the fairy godmailer, if you are visiting after our trip. What do I need to do? Sign up, etc. Let me know.

I would love someone to do this for my dd, but I am overseas. We will be in dd from 5th April - 22nd April, if anyone is willing to send overseas my dd would be delighted.

I wouldnt mind sending overseas. What is the difference.. more postage? Oh, so what!! Let me know what details I need, and Ill send a card. We have family in Scotland, so its no big deal. We'll be in DL the 1st week in March.
I wish I would have heard about this sooner. Sounds fabulous!!! We wouldnt have time to find someone and actually get a crad now before we leave, so Id love to do it for someone else since we cant do it.

We are making our very first trip to DL April 28-May3 and my son, who has cerebral palsy and is developmentally delayed, is almost beside himself with anticipation of our trip. If someone could send him a postcard saying that they are looking forward to his visit - he loves Mickey and Minnie- he would be so thrilled. I would be happy to do the same when we are there.

This idea sounds so great! My kids would flip. We are surprising our kids for my dd's 10th birthday. We are going to DL the begining of April. Would anyone be interested in mailing my kids postcards?? If interested please PM, and I'll give you there info.

Please, please can someone do this for my 3 kids...6,4,and 2. We are going May 9th-14th so if anyone would like a postcard I'd love to send one too! My 6 year old son loves Goofy or Mickey. My 4 year old daughter LOVES cinderella! My 2 year old gets so excited when she sees Minnie Mouse in our books!
