Fairfx at Disney Resort

Does anybody know if I hand over my regular Mastercard when I check in to SSR in 8 days time , I can then pay the balance of my KTTW charges on my Fairfx card? I recall reading somewhere that if I give my Fairfx card up front to cover charges that the hotel will freeze a certain amount of funds on the card, is this correct?

Not positive about the first part of your ? but I believe you can do that.

As for the second part - don't pre-authorise with your Fairfx card as they will freeze funds - just use it to pay on. The Fairfx website specifically says not to do this.

We are using another card to put behind reception of our hotel (AKL) and then paying the balance on leaving with our Fairfx card. Just to let you know if you use your room card around the park you can pay bits off at anytime anyway - cash or card.

I have done this in the past used one card and then paid the balance with another. That happened to be the American Express card that they had a few years ago which was the same as Fairfx.

What you need to do is go and pay your bill the night before you check out, that way they can charge it to your fairfx card. If you leave it until the morning of check out then they may well have already charged your card on file.
