Hi neighbors,

I hope you remember the Jan. fiasco with the God parents and pulling their timeshare from me at the last moment and how several dissers saved my vacation.

Well, I just got a call from Fairfield timeshare saying how John and Lorie wanted us to tour Lake Tahoe and the wyndham/fairfield timeshare hard sell thing.

I was shocked and didn't say how upset I am still at our God parents, how hurt I am that she doesn't call or speak to me, how much I truly miss the lost friendship and how much we grieve the loss of our extra family. I was shocked and hurt all at the same time.

I told the nice person that we just bought a DVC and we are happy beyond belief. We don't have any extra income and thank you so much.

Sorry, I just love my DVC and can't think of buying anywhere else. Heck, I just need more money for more points.

You tour and they ask you to give a list of people you know with addresses and phone numbers. You usually get something like t-shirts or beach towels in return for 8-12 names.

As slow as some companies respond to leads, they may have given the names a year ago! Not trying to defend them, but I've had people try and get me to re-finance a VA loan 10 years after I was rid of it!
