Fairfield Orlando at Bonnett Creek Resort?

Hi, all. Anyone ever stay there, and what can you tell me about it? We already have reservations at Marriott Grande Vista for our first WDW visit next year, but someone told my husband about Fairfield. They said it is inside the gate at WDW and that it was nice. We were told MGV was right outside the gate of WDW. Anyone ever stay at both and can tell me about them? TIA

While I guess "technically" FF is inside the "gates", it does not have the WDW perks and is not "on property" and does not get on-site perks like Magical Express, Extra Magic Hours, Disney transportation, free parking at the parks, etc. Having said that, it's a nice location. We have not stayed there, but it gets typically good reviews. We have stayed at MGV and enjoyed it, but it is not close to WDW to me at all. That was about my only dislike, I felt too far from WDW since we are used to staying on-site. DH loved MGV because it felt "away", lol. It is a pretty property but my only worry would be being placed in a building away from the main pool, etc. which thankfully didn't happen to us. We are trying Marriott Cypress Harbour in February which I have heard lots of great things about too.

We stayed at Bonnet Creek for a week this past June... NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. I'll take Marriott Grande Vista anyday over Bonnet Creek !!
