Fairfield Inn

I've stayed there a few times and I like it. The price is reasonable, the rooms are nice and clean, and it's in walking distance of the front gate. There's also a little restaurant out front called Millie's that is really good.

We stayed there on our first visit two years ago. It is about a 8-10 minute walk to the gate of Disneyland. Very easy walk I might add. The rooms are good, just as good as any on harbor blvd. There is a pizza hut express inside along with some premade sandwiches. There is a convience store inside for things forgotten and some snacks. The pool is rather small but it is okay. The hot tub is very small. There is a restaurant named Millies directly in front of it. It is a wannabe Applebee's but the food is okay. There is also a McDonalds right in front of the hotel as well. We would stop and get a quick breakfast before heading into the parks. One note - McDonalds would be extremely busy in the morning and in the late night when everyone was returning from the park. We are thinking of returning this summer.

This picture is with Disneyland behind me looking forward to the hotel.

Here is a picture turned around looking the other way. You can see the monorail beam in the center, Millies to the right and the top of the roof of McDonald's to the left.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Oh yeah one more thing. On many of the floors you can walk around the outside of the hotel floor and you can see directly into Disneyland. You can see Splash Mountain's top, Haunted Mansion's top and Matterhorn of course.

Sorry about the picture quality. From this shot you can't make out any of the above mentioned items. I forgot my good camera on our first trip and only had a crappy little Kodak camera my daughter brought along. On first time there were fires happening all over CA and we rushed out the door without my camera.

We got back from the Fairfield 2 weeks ago. Our room had a great view of the park and it's an easy walk. The beds were very comfy and it was always clean. Some of the furniture is showing some wear and the rooms are a bit small but I'd recommend it to anyone and we'll stay there again next time we go.

I also recommend Mimi's, closer to Hojo's. The food is excellent, reasonably priced and big portions.

Stayed there numerous times. Do you have any specific questions? Ask away.

We stayed there in 2007 and I was very happy with it. Would have loved to stay there again but it was sold-out. We ended up w/the Quality Inn and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
