I'm thinking of spending a week at the Fairfield inn and Suites at Seaworld in May 2025.
the price is really good and we will be at discovery cove, seaworld and aquatica so it seems we can walk from the hotel.
can anyone confirm this? We don't mind walking 15-20mins

My other question is, we won't have a car, how is the restaurants in the area? The hotel has free breakfast so that's a bonus, we will be eating in the parks for lunch but may want dinner out, we could get uber eats if we wanted a meal in the room but I'd prefer to be able to walk to restaurants - can anyone recommend anything in the area in walking distance?
My kids are 9 and 6, we do have a portable booster for the 6yo and can get an Uber XL if needed to go to a restaurant on I-drive.

No entrance near that hotel so it would be a walk but if you look at a google map you are on international drive which has tons of restaurants close by, we usually stay closer to entrance there is a Hampton inn suite and a Staybridge suite closer to entrance.

Just did a measurement, it's a 1.2 mile walk from the front door to the Seaworld main gate, 0.8 miles to Aquatica, and 0.6 to Discovery Cove. I think that's reasonable, and maybe you can take an Uber at the end of a long Seaworld day.

I quickly counted 12 restaurants, plus Wawa and an ice cream shop, in a 10 minute walk from the hotel. You're also a short Uber ride from the middle of International Drive. There's also a public bus that stops at Sea World, Aquatica, and I-drive. I think you'll be good to go.

So you could recommend both of the hotels that are closer? We are on a budget but also don't want a dump!

We did staybridge it was clean we had 4 adults 2 kids so we did 2 bedroom suite fit all of us & breakfast in the morning. I guess price would depend on room ours worked out to 225 but we went in December around Christmas

I stayed at the Renaissance Orlando at Seaworld the last time I went. It's a shorter walk to Seaworld, but there aren't as many restaurants around and I think it's longer to Aquatica and Discovery Cove.

Thanks everyone, we are still tossing up our options.
I'm thinking of staying at Surfside at Universal and just getting uber to Seaworld etc, the 2 bedroom suites are a really good price.
I did ask this question in another thread, not sure if they still do it but we used to be able to get a shuttle to Seaworld from Universal Orlando a few years ago.
