Fairfield, Baymont, or Wellesley??

Hey All!

We'll be splitting our stay this summer between POR and an offsite hotel. We were big fans of Comfort Suites until they raised their rates, so we've done some looking around, and sort of have it narrowed down to three.

Baymont Inns & Suites Orlando
(Located on I-Drive)

Fairfield Lake Buena Vista at Marriott Village

Wellesley Inns & Suites Orlando/Int'l Drive

Baymont is cheapest ($53) followed by Wellesley ($59) and finally Fairfield LBV ($64).

We have no experience at any of these hotels, but we are tempted to go with Fairfield, as Marriott is such a reputable brand (is it not?). ANY info/suggestions you can provide on these properties would be much appreciated!

Although I haven't stayed there yet, I've heard good things about Wellesley Inn (this was the one on Commidity Circle, I believe). When I went to site, I saw that there was the new one on International Drive (which is the one I'm guessing you're talking about).

Don't know when your trip is, but I will post when I get back since we are probably going to be there for some of our trip as well.

Sorry, I know this doesn't help too much since I haven't stayed there, but others have and it looks really nice.

UPDATE: We have decided not to stay at the Wellesley Inn on International Drive. This is because they do not have a full kitchen, just a small refrig, coffee maker, etc. They also do not have suites. They recently refurbished it, but since they don't have the full kitchens like we thought (just called to confirm this) we are now looking elsewhere.

We stayed at the Wellesley Inn and Suites on Commodity Drive a couple of years back and loved it. It is a little removed from I-drive and set in sort of a business park setting. The hotel was clean and the rooms spacious for the price we paid we were very happy. We had a room with a small kitchen and it came in handy too. I would have no problem staying there again.
